I joined a mission mid-progress with a plasma gun loadout, only to find out that about 20% of my shots had no sound or visual feedback that I had fired it (it still did the damage), but it was very jarring and felt really weird.
I just had this happen in a game as well. Plasma gun fires but sometimes has no firing animation or sound. Also game felt very laggy when hordes spawned, and this lag made the gun “misfire” more often.
Seems to happen on any map except the Psykhanium, only since last update.
Feels random, but could be related to ingame performance.
