I must say im kinda confuse about the settings on this game, i have a notebook that it should run this game just fine at Medium settings but it cant, i must downgraded to low and even that way its feel underperformance.
I play Forza horizon 5, GOW, and other games and they run really smoothly… dunno whats going on with this, but is reallt annoying… any help about this?

optimization is so bad that low settings are the best settings to use
Turn off anything with lens or Glare in the name, makes the game look worse and it comes at a massive performance hit. Set fog to low aswell as to not gimp yourself with not being able to see.
Have you tried a clean reinstall of your video drivers?
If so, have you tried a Cleanup Tool reinstall from scratch?

Download the latest drivers, run the cleanup tool, reboot, reinstall your drivers, reboot, and then give Darktide a whirl. Hopefully that helps.
