Patch #9 Garbs and Penances

It is fine to admit you were wrong Fatshark, that is the frist stage of self-improvement. Just change them into something more teamplay centric instead.

This, @FatsharkCatfish, I know you’re in a tough position, but I’m pretty sure that until these 4 points are addressed in a concrete manner (even if it just means getting an actual statement on where the development team stands regarding these issues), the game will continue to flounder and never achieve any amount of success.
The current players are your number one testers, and these are the most pressing issues that continue to hinder the game and are brought up time and again without any response whatsoever.
Something has to be done.

What absolute nonsense is this. I was not expecting a great patch to be honest but i was also not expecting we go back into shi’‘’ changes like this.

Olitory no word still seemingly on crafting rng, siloed resources and map selection.

Other patch that I will be skipping.

I think it’s possible to restore resilience and increase the triggering method of light attacks

5-2: Use weapons for light attacks to restore resilience, restoring 5% when hitting a single or multiple enemies

5-3: Use weapons to heavily attack and restore resilience, restoring 25% when hitting a single or multiple enemies

10-1 still does not work against Plague Ogryn, cannot reduce the damage done by Plague Ogryn, and cannot increase the damage done to Plague Ogryn


Ogryn’s melee weapon, heavy hitting is still not as effective as light hitting.
Can you tell me if you can change the 20-1 damage reduction from detecting bleeding enemies within 8 meters per second to stacking a damage reduction buff after causing a bleeding effect for 5 seconds?
Because of the use of weapons to kill the enemy with a heavy blow, the damage reduction will disappear directly
If you want to maintain the damage reduction effect, it will lead to players unable to kill the enemy, becoming a team drag

Fatshark, every single patch update forever is going to be filled with comments about shitty crafting.

Please. Please just address it. Please address the crafting system. Your entire playerbase is here because we’re expecting it to change, and everyone else who has left keeps saying they’ll come back when it’s happened.

The more and more of us who believe you won’t change aren’t going to come back. Please, for chrissakes, address the crafting.

Lag, desyncs are back, awesome.

25-2 from a maximum of 10 shots, enhanced to a maximum of 13 shots …
Can you just delete the reduction in stamina when firing, only retain the 10% per second stamina consumption to maintain the right-click mode … firing to reduce stamina this setting is too uncomfortable …

Also Also as usual, When they know more they will tell us.
This answer is never going to not be this. Things not mentioned in patch notes are not going to be things that might be mentioned in Comlinks. In comlinks, they will only tell us what they are able. It is not like they are unaware that these topics are cried about constantly.

If that was the official answer, mine would be to give up on the game until something changes for the better. They’re not talking, we’re still hoping, but for how much longer?

Still not entirely doable. Even on the shortest map, you added barricades that need to scan and then open. You have added length to spawning in. You are changing density of spawns…
21-23 mins in our fastest on multiple maps. Then factor in your playgroup will likely have each player with a zealot. Then add in that weapon tweaks have changed things.
23 mins is still a rush run. 22 even!

Catfish has said multiple times that those topics are on the table and they will tell us more when they know more. They are talking and not promising anything they may not deliver. It is just that easy.

Actual feedback on the patch is burried under whine whine whine… Not coming back until it changes? Ok, it hasn’t changed. Buh Byes! Instead they flood threads. This whole forum is 10 dudes who say the same garbage over and over again. Game not hard enough, when change crafting?, Y no mission custom?, when single player?, are you my mommy?, Here is how solve issue that is non-issue.

There’s no use in not asking. Maybe they expect us to just give up on it if they never mention it. Fudge that. Every time they don’t do anything about it is every time we need to say something about it.

1 - You will get 1 credit per 2 (or more) enemies you kill in a single volley fire. Killing more doesn’t get you extra progress.

2- Doesn’t have to be in a row.

3 - Yes exactly, get a chain of 4 successful throws to get 1. Repeat 5 times to complete.

We added the requirement for some penances to be done in a private game as we consider them to be more of “trick challenges, " often requiring the entire team’s collaboration and a break from normal gameplay. This can be a lot of fun but should not be mandatory or forced upon unsuspecting teammates.

It is fine. I said what I said and will avoid the forums so the VT2 players and like … 3 other people can have “their say”. Enjoy the echo chamber.

Please can you raise this as a separate issue in the bugs section of the forums if you haven’t already?

It’s mentioned by new people in this and the steam forums every week. It’s a major sticking point for a lot of people, especially those new to the series. Don’t forget to close the door on your way out.
