Sounds like they might be bugged and literally can’t grab anyone

Mutants are broken - Patch #8

What ever your team did to tweak the mutants in today’s patch, they seem to have overdone it. Mutants are now completely unable to grab people at all, and they seem to have no collision either - they literally just charge straight through players and do nothing.
