Yeah, i did the curio grind 4 separate times and it’s not great, it’s not even that they are done but it’s mostly i got tired after going through it. I’m still mostly upgrading curios on my Vet as i gave up on my zealot and they aren’t anywhere close to perfect.
I think ive seen one +17% toughness and 1 +21% hp but they are mostly on the wrong character and had a bad starting roll (one had +xp the other had +curio).
Until a major change is made im just not wasting my time with it, especially because you can only get 2 curios an hour currently.

I’ve been skimming the thread and if I understand correctly you’ve been asking for someone to give breakpoint(s) that need a perfect weapon that a near perfect weapon can’t reach, I think I give can one. But I also want to point out that the ask is unreasonable, the crafting and progression system are so incredibly restrictive that we can not experiment, test and swap freely between weapons.
Regardless, I can give this one with complete certainty:
- With a perfect Thunder Hammer + T4 Thrust and perks, you can oneshot-headshot Crushers without having to rely on a crit or building up Zealot’s damage stacks.
And I had this moment happen in which a Brain Burst + Revolver headshot didn’t kill a dog because the revolver was at 79% damage instead of 80%. That was kinda funny.

It really is the Timmy Turner’s dad meme where he presents the location of his (INSERT OBJECT OF INTEREST HERE) on a pedestal if he had any.

Its because he’s deliberately driving down the importance of other bars, so its pretty dumb to engage with. But the 2 burst autogun needs I think 75% damage rolls minimum and 25% flak/25% unarmored for its Vet breakpoints. Which is a true case of ‘you need the stars to line up if you want an already bad gun to be viable’, even the missing 5 damage/pen will not cover up only having one of those perks T3.

Well, I might be going out on a limb here too, but the back and forth of the perspectives on the Shrine of the Omnissiah might benefit from FS’s proper explanation why you think this is a good system, as opposed to, sorry to say, generic drivel “we wanted to take a different direction”. I will say again that I find your system so hostile and unfun that I simply don’t want to know about blessings and perks, nor items in general beyond the L4D level, but I am open to enlightenment if I am missing something crucial that would make sense out of it from the perspective of me as a player.

Yeah exactly. And the reason that’s important is that near perfect weapons (360+ attributes with T3/T4 mixed blessings/perks) are dramatically easier to craft than actually-perfect weapons (exactly 380 with everything T4).
Yeah but the challenge is doing something that requires perfection. That doesn’t require perfection, here’s a TH with
- 356 attributes
- T3/T4 perks
- T3/T4 blessings
(for those unfamiliar, this is the breakpoint calculator. The left side is the weapon settings: we’re testing Heavy 1 with a TH, with the attributes/perks/blessings you see. The right side is the target, a Crusher with 2550 HP because it’s Damnation, and from top to bottom the four numbers are the damage you’re doing against: Body, Weakpoint, Crit, and Crit Weakpoint. So with a weakpoint hit you do 2569 damage.)
A weapon like this is dramatically easier to obtain than an actually perfect T4-everything weapon.
(And the fact that we have a breakpoint calculator to easily show this sort of stuff is why the challenge isn’t unreasonable.)
I can (kind of) appreciate the effort, but I can’t say I’m surprised by the answer you got.
Time to step up and face the ‘challenge’!
Edit: I can also appreciate that visit to the BP-calc.

So, update on this, I got nifty thing called mod and that mod shows when weapon blessings are active.
While mod may be lying and I’ll try doing some tests later to verify, but as is blaze away doesn’t work on Grenade Gauntlet, thumper or kickback firing. On GG it’s activated on melee attacks and same for other two. If this is true and deliberate, it’s idiotic.
Furthermore, it’s idiotic to spend 100 bullets to get full effect on Twin Stubber.
