The change of deeds’ map fix was kind of “hmm”. In my opinion it was not that necessary, it weighs like the wrong description under one of the featured tabs. I reported it a time ago, and still no fix (not that it would pain me, just strange what priority you have fixing bugs). We posted other bugs which are really, really annoying and unfair and those are still in the game since weeks, months.
The hat pricing stuff is ridiculous and the complete remove from the emporium is just another “oh my god”.
The tzeench weekly was promised to be back. Lots of us thought that It will come back into the rat infestation weekly, but sadly no. Now here it goes, but it is still causing crashes. 2 crashed out of total 3 games (twitch - there were no issues before the rat event with tzeench and twitch. Even with 200% and 15/5, or tzeench+vanguard+200% twitch worked just fine without any crash), we abandoned it for today. You know how to make the players feel disappointed, that’s for sure.
You at Fatshark are so obsessed with the new content. We began to see this at the release of WoM. Other stuff was pushed back into the background. Now with the seasons you want the weaves work, but I don’t think it will be that popular what you expected to be. What I see is that “a little bit to this, a little bit to that but we need to present the new stuff after each other” and we encounter bugs more often, old bugs beginning to return even harder than before.
The new map… in the first half of it I found 3 bugs (and I didn’t even search for it), I’ll report them of course but please… enemies can go into the ground and hitting the players. Is this stuff really that complicated to make a ramp cannot be passed through by any units? This can be seen in any map.
I don’t like any of this new things, I want the old fatshark who maintained the game before WoM. This new “new content new content shop shop shop” stuff is just bad for the game as I feel.
If you have them that is. Oh you don’t have Cata deeds? Ran out of Legend deeds? Well bummer. Lohner might want to sell us a few, or convert a Recruit deed into a harder one for a mere dollar.
Some people have obviously gathered some loot by running Legend dual emp deeds as recruit, but who cares? I know who, but why?
For the longest time there was many many publicly known OOB exploits in various missions that very rarely got the attention from devs. Now time is being wasted on this in every patch. The ults of BW & Slayer were even redone partly because of that. Now we are not talking just some hours of work anymore.
Why not spend that same time fixing something that actually matters for us players?
I’ve never seen someone in QP exploit their way (in a major way that could be called an exploit, as in skipping considerable areas). Some rare cases players might be farming loot, but who gives a *uck?
Stupid harmless exploits fix priority > most bugs.
This. Like for instance the slew of performance issues that have been reported ad nauseum since the 2.1 beta. Surely not being able to run the game properly is higher priority than a bunch of people turning legend deeds into Cata deeds because there literally aren’t Cata deeds otherwise…
Like come on this is the perfect way to make yourself look awful as a dev. Continuously taking things away without ever filling the void that was being filled by exploits like this. Who wants to keep playing a game that feels like it’s losing features as it goes.
Yes, this is wrong. But people who knew this used to change only the map of the deed not for a map which can be skippergated. I don’t really see the point in gaining loot which has literally have no power in the lategame. I have 600-ish unopened chests in total, I have almost all the red illusions, I play this game for fun not for be able to tell that I know an a pilot to skip almost a complete map. I’m going to the 2700th hour, lots of the veterans have no intention to “cheat” loot. For a vanguard, harder better, sudden death legend deed if you change the map from Hunger (easiest for kind of deeds) to Athel or something like that made the deed harder a bit, more challenging.
Fatshark granted us the cata difficulty for money of course, they said this is the ultimate endgame (or part of it), but it lacks of challenge. For newcomers who are learning the mechanics, dodging, avoiding damage, sure it will be challenge. For a period of time. But they will go back to legend or champ with hyper twitch because of the fun and for the enjoying the game with friends. I have all the challenges, all maps in cata, I help in lots of times to friends doing high diff challenges, but if we play with my close friend and with my sister we play champ hypertwitch, challenging ourselves by “how many chaos warriors can you kill with one bomb, how can you handle 4 bosses when you don’t kill any of the blightstormers spawn in, etc. this is more challenging then forcing to play a buggy cata map when a bug like blightstormer cast through wall will end the match when beasties have no backstab sound and you cannot stagger them for some reason.
But still, there are more important thing to fix, this map change was not that annoying and unfair. Much more important things to go for in this game. Like this new map. This was good. The first was like oof, not another bloody long map, but still.
Ha! Awesome! My brother and I do the “Can you fill the special slots with Globadiers/stormers and not kill them til the end of the map” Challenge. Very hard on Against the Grain where they spawn halfway up a mountain a mile away and cast directly into the field you’re in.
Deed’s need a monumental rework, not just a little tweak. To rework Deeds how most people would like (pick your modifiers and map and Loot is scaled accordingly) would essentially give the Veteran’s their own way of creating pseudo-weaves - this’d make the Weaves even less populated and cause even more reason to NOT buy WoM. Fixing this loophole ( won’t call it a bug or exploit) is closing the door on another thing that competes with Weaves.
Yeah shadows dropped my frames considerably, Once that was disabled I was able to obtain above the 100fps mark(with still high dips in frames) ranging from 120 to 40 fps at times.
So quick answer please to get curse of drachenfels on console we must wait after chapter 3 release on pc first??? Or will we get part 1 and 2 before the final chapter on pc?
I thought drachenfels dlc would come on consoles on March… But at this point could be April or May… Jeez endless patience
I wonder where the “new challenges” are? There have been some new ones for Old Haunts with release of Blood in the Darkness but they are gone somehow?! Haven’t seen a statement on that anywhere so far.
