Party Finder tip for Fatshark

Summary: In the Mourningstar, add a UI text element in the top left corner “X parties looking for more rejects.” (e.g. ‘5 parties looking for more rejects’)

Background: I frankly (after like a year off?) love all the changes to the game… but the Party Finder is underutilized, in no small part because it’s not going to be top of mind or obvious for players to use to begin with. I love your gameplay, music, and graphics, obese megaladon, but I may have some critique on the UI / usability

Now I just pug or use the official discord server myself (this recommendation is not for people like me but more geared at new/casual players), BUT having checked the party finder a few times over the weekend (and even successfully making a lowbie-help party once!), I think a basic change to put open parties in the main UI so they’re top of mind is a pretty straightforward boost to visibility and therefore to utilization.

Today: “There’s a party finder?”
Proposed: “Oh, I always know how many parties are available … and gosh that mental nudge in the main UI might just make me form my own”

Party Finder is just useless.

Quickplay should put people in parties by default(same way they put people in game, but now everyone in lobby or joining on-going game is also in a party). You know, like how Vermintide2 puts the players back in host’s Keep by default.

Without such feature, it’s all worthless. Because I and probably everyone else absolutely will just quickplay, which makes party finder even less used and thus dead feature(just like how when fatshark made “see ally weapon/build” feature opt-in to protect the noobs, which made it unused/worthless).

Of course, that’s assuming it actually works and won’t break QP instead, which would kill the game even faster.
