Suggested change:
1.Keep pressure stacks when skill bar reach max
2.Allow crank gun to be cranked/reloaded when Career Skill is full
Currently, Outcast Engineer is really clunky to play when at the career skill bar is full:
In order to keep pressure and lvl 20 buffs active when the skill bar is full, players have to fire a couple seconds into the air, before being able to crank the gun.
Because of this, not only do players need to micro manage pressure stacks, they also need to micro manage their skill bar as well. As a result, keeping pressure and buffs during a fight is very difficult and time consuming. It can takes over 8 seconds to get the skill bar down to an effective level and to regain all stacks of pressure and buffs, which is unfeasible in most situations during combat.
Furthermore, it makes Full Head of Steam far inferior to Superior Gaskets and Experimental Capacitors. Normally, when the skill bar is not full and 5 stacks of pressure is present, players just have to crank once to regain full steam. But at full career skill, players are forced to expend skill bar and crank a full 5 times in order to regain buff. It takes a minimum of ~300frames(5 seconds) in order to get full steam, and after it wears out, players have to keep repeating the process.
Letting the outcast engineer to crank at max skill bar will allow players to maintain their buffs more consistently and improve the flow of the combat loop.
