How about Ogyrns having a bolter or storm bolter. Makes more sense for an Ogryn being able to fire a bolter with its massive recoil. Maybe a rotary assault cannon (gatling gun). Imagine the sound of that massive motor whirling up and the tremendous roar of it firing. The muzzle flash would be huge!

Heavy Bolters are probably THE best candidate for an Ogryn Bolt weapon.
Heavy Bolters are significantly more common amongst Astra Militarum personnel than Spearhead Bolters are, in fact.

I’m not sure that’s correct, Sergeant can be issued Bolters, while Heavy Bolter are special/heavy weapon teams.
Stormbolter is somewhat of a reach, but as Gunlugger (Only War\Shield of Humanity) give access to either Las training (and a free Multilaser) or Bolt training (and a free Heavy Bolter).
Having the Bolt training kinda let the Ogryn take any Bolt weapon with the Heavy tag, Stormbolter aren’t given that tag though, so still somewhat of a reach

What self respecting army of the Guard doesnt have at least a few… nay! a half dozen even! heavy weapon teams 
I do feel generally that sergeants are seen with bolt pistol, plasma pistol or plasma gun more often than the bolter. Im not really an IG guy tho so take it with a pinch of 
Although… upon searching “Imperial Guard Sergeant” on DDG, most of them have a las-pistol

Imperial Sergeant have Laspistol and Close Combat from base, but change change it to Bolt Pistol, Bolter, Plasma Pistol, and either Chain Sword or Power Weapon

From the TT rulebook I assume? Im pretty clueless when it comes to the TT IG stuff but I do love a bit of IG action in the games, DoW 1 and 2 being my faves.
Boltgun profile on TT is usually the baseline and considered not very good. If you can take anything else you do it. If your gun deals less than Boltgun, then that model is either meant to be massed or only shoot if it has literally nothing else to do.

I guess thats why I dont see it as much. I have used 3rd (I think) edition Orks though, and I gotta say, it sounds very similar to piling up gretchin with autoguns. Total fodder

It also makes a lot of sense logistically for the Astra Militarum to prioritise fielding Heavy Bolters over Spearhead Bolters. Why issue a Squad Leader a Spearhead Bolter when you can just issue them, for example, a Lascarbine for way cheaper? Meanwhile Heavy Bolters are typically used with a mounted emplacement for anti-Infantry fire support purposes… but an Ogryn could easily pick it up and use it like an LMG.
