Ogryn Overtuned? + Polling

I fought a bunch of naked necromancers in cave while doing the mage guild questline

Hey look I pick on Veteran before and after this post, Zealot before that… much less aggro over the 1 point talent tree change… maybe because Ogryn seems to be the in thing right now and you guys are also part of the recency bias.

My comment you quoted here was referring to Fatshark’s treatment of Ogryn post patch 13, not your thread, to be clear.

yeah after patch 13 they went after crazy broken ogg talents like batter (6 stacks down to 4) and dominate (30% rending to 10%) and then buffed the Mk4 dueling sword again. the mind boggles.

Yeah like I didn’t even disagree with those Ogryn nerfs, but the feeling that he is playing by a different ruleset is pretty palpable.

What you guys think about taunt pulses to throw pounds from player if pinned down by them?
It will be to OP to?

Oh well, I was too busy playing the GOTY contender Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Also some dude just beat Breath of the Wild during Switch 2 hands-on lol

I just had this followed by “Wow, you’re the hero of Kvatch” once I paid my fines for stolen items I didn’t know I had, they must be somewhere in a sack (same gate, same dude I assume).

Anyways, they won’t nerf the Ogryn just after having buffed it.
Except pickaxes, and not considering soulblaze, Ogryn is now at same level of reworked psyker.
Miss now Zealot / Veteran reworks… and after, or at same time, nerfing what is obviously really too strong.

Actually pickaxes on Ogryn is too strong. And Paul is still… not a weapon you should pick. Nerf a little Pickaxes and give this love to the Paul.

Yeah this isn’t for major nerfs just slight tweaks that we see with every patch. I hope Ogryn tree is the new standard. By counts it has the most talent diversity, shortest paths and shortest reaches to any passive you could want. Psyker is jealous. All 3 other trees at least need half the operative modifiers and replacements in passive unique talents… with ideally more direct routes

PS. its been fascinating watching the vote swings back and forth between 1st option

The Ogryn tree really does seem to make for easier navigation, but I’m unconvinced that’s a problem. I wouldn’t mind tree-tweaks, but I don’t think they’d mean much compared to outlying talent values and - more significantly - some of the weapons.
