Ogryn No Pushover (visibility)

To Whom It May Concern,

I have truly been enjoying the new Ogryn passive “No Pushover”:

However I am having some difficulty discerning when it’s about to proc. The ability bar is so very small and unobtrusive, and it’s proven a valuable ability to keep close tabs on. Knowing that the big bully you’re up against is about to get pushed extra hard is juicy information!

I would like to ask you to please consider making a noise or other subtle indication that the super push has just triggered. This would raise the ‘cinematic impact’ of the move and serve to better track the ability aurally. It would also serve as a reminder that the next one is up in 8 seconds.

I’m really digging it overall! Please consider adding this feature for Torb…

I have not tried this skill yet, what notable things does it do?
Like, maybe it can stagger Bosses? Or open a Bulwark?

+1

Someone get OP a drink!

If you are an Ogryn like me, visit the Psykanium and give it a whirl. If your mind isn’t spinning with possibilities, perhaps you need bone’ead.

Seriously though, it’s just an occasional strong push. It’ll stagger Bulwarks and Maulers a bit and Ragers a lot. Hordes too. I like to push attack a lot so I get good use out of it!

However, if you peer into my small (yet well-proportioned) Ogryn brain you will see a swell of raw excitement and glee with each ubershove. Really activates my neurons!!

Between those two points (utility & feel), and some more I haven’t delved into yet (skill tree placement), I think it’s a great addition to the Ogryn’s kit – one might even say “power fantasy”. Given it’s brand spanking new I don’t doubt FS is keeping an eye on it! Hopefully their eyes land here, too :shark:

Yeah, ogryn enemies are normally the only things you can’t open up with a shove as ogryn. And the other elite enemies just stagger slightly from a push. With this talent you can both stagger ogryn enemies and throw smaller elites to the ground. I really like block-tanking until I have 4 ragers or so on me and throwing them all on the ground with a shove. Like always (and as per usual given my love of this blessing and need to mention it whenever stagger is discussed) its great for skullcrusher. Its generally harder to inflict that stagger reset bug on heavy staggers like this, so you get a lot of time for you/your allies to kill them while they’re taking +40/80% damage.

Alright, now that I heard you two, I think I will try this talent out on my Shield Ogryn.
Also, what are you refering to here?

some old VT2 bug where if an enemy is staggered again while staggered they reset animation and are standing again. the heavy stagger state of enemies climbing to their feet only seems to get interrupted by really unique stagger cases like eviscerating with a power weapon or smite.
