Ogryn For the Lil'Uns perk

Generally seems like an interesting choice especially if you like revive speed – potentially clearing up a curio slot. The tooltip says “On ally getting toughness broken…” so I’m wondering if this is global or in Coherency. Anyone know?

I’m not inclined to run it or I might have the data at hand. If only there was friendly fire…

When you say global, you mean outside of coherency?

I’d be interested to know too.

It’s global I’m pretty sure, I use that talent in Havoc in one of the builds and it’s good even for additional damage reduction it brings, although you still can’t go for risky saves against multiple gunners. It’s best if stacked with revive curios, I don’t see any reason to use it on its own.

Also I’ve noticed that many high end players usually never revive people who got downed in a bad position, they’d rather revive them at the next checkpoint, so I guess for perfectly optimized builds it’s not that good

I tend to take No Hurting Friends! on all my builds as it feels more appropriate in more places even if less potent, works off you getting hit too, and doesn’t have a CD so it’s basically permanently active as soon as a wave starts (it works off toughness damage, so again, basically always up).

I could see stacking the two for specifically havoc for the sake of being the ‘clutch play’ tank or by saving a point if you don’t value Dedicated Practice (I do though, I can’t leave home without it anymore it helps so much). But I’ve never taken it personally, even if in pubs you can pretty much always assume someone’s falling over at some point…if one wants to count on that though or as stated, for havoc, I could see it very useful.
