Off-Topic Fridays: What's Your Dream Job?

That’s a real chariot, asinine mortal.

Once I lose 6% of my body fat I’m going to join the United States Army, probably something mechanics-related. I don’t know if I would go so far as to say it’s my “dream job”, but the thought of it doesn’t fill me with dread and resentment like most other jobs do, and I’m more confident about it than anything else so far. So that’s something.

Being a planetary governor in the 41st Millennium would be pretty cool too I guess.

Professional Game-Master/Dungeon-Master/Fantasy World Creator/Tabletop-Game-Organizer. I’ve already made 2 fantasy universes for my players to play in and I love writing for them (even if I’m a bad writer…). If I could make money doing it I’d do it every day, all day, and no one could stop me!

I usually run 2-3 campaigns at any time, anyways… makes me happy, so I hope to one day do what I love!

I love the idea of exploring and adventuring with a group.
Like a DnD party or the Vermintide heros.

I’m an Electronics tech by trade so I do work with some interesting stuff but descovering old temples or saving a village sounds so much more forfilling and purposeful.
I just like helping people too much

Let me guess, your current occupation is Necromancer? :stuck_out_tongue:

I would join the Adeptus Mechanicus, but since I need to wait for Elon Musk to settle on Mars I just study mechanical engineering in the meantime. But to be "realistic, I think I would like to run a creative workshop, with a coffee lounge, a gym and a big f*ing fishroom around, so basically I would run a place where I would like to live myself

Since we’re reviving this thread and I have yet to post an actual dream job, I used to want to work in game development.

Nowadays not so much, mostly because of the various reports of crunch times, unpaid and forced overtime and difficult office cultures of some of the studios.
And to be fair to myself also because I am incredibly lazy to learn new things and generally prefer consuming to creating nowadays

It’s that or being a Titan Princeps. :stuck_out_tongue:
