Well, we had that similar question 8-9 weeks before. It was about book or movie though.

Same as before - Jakub Wędrowycz franchise.

" - His given time (on this earth), has ended last year. Since he didn’t come to us on his own, we’ve send The Death with official invitation…

’ - I remember - Saint Peter skewed his lips - After She got hit with a Panzerfaust I was glueing Her together for a month. What of it?"

In general,

  • Dresden Files rpg, like from Owlcat or Larian
Like having different classes that come from the Wizards, Wolves, Church…
  • Thorgal, but I know there is one, good Viking comics, very nice read.
  • Warhammer Age of Sigmar, pls, it deserve some good devs trying to make a good game
  • Steelheart-Rekoner, a narrative heavy rpg set around using tools and investigation to find how to kill Supers
  • How to train your dragon (the animated films), a kid game with flying dragon and “combat” being more about outsmarting than gratuitous amount of violence
  • How to train your dragon (the books), a more adult/serious game, following the stories of the books.
  • Painted Man: a medieval world where humanity , which actually has regressed from a modern world tech level due to monsters-demons rising every night, and follow someone who learned runes to fight them

If by Fatshark, other than doing some other warhammer games:

  • Castlevania: A Belmont, a Reader/Belnade, a thief/Danasty, of course Alucard, and not sure what else
  • Cyberpunk
  • World of Darkness

Other than that, mostly making their own proprietary Ip tbh.

Oh that reminds me of a niche fantasy book series I like “Sword of Truth” has a cheesy tv show knock off “Legend of the Seeker” cool fantasy classes like wizards, sorcerers, confessors, Morde Sith… but the books power fantasy kept power creeping too each book had a new villain class type that kept 1 upping but it was a fun read especially their endings, with proper OP main character.

Definitely a Star Wars COOP bunch of room for class systems and universe of enemy types.

Even a 40K set in another faction would be fun often it’s the human based or ork games. I’d like some proper Eldar and Tau ones especially for Monk’i statements.

…I guess Game of Thrones would also be a more popular novel into game all see is the mobile or political choice based ones tho =/

Thank you for covering me! :joy:

I’d love to see 1883 made in to something like a modern day Oregon Trail

Reminded me of this:

Buffalo. Buffalo. Buffalo.

There’s this kind of bad but very enjoyable RPG I remember playing that wasn’t just straight up monetized slop. The stories are OG using GoT setting though and I can not remember a single thing about it honestly, so that probably says something about the story itself.

As for the actual post question:

I remember reading Monster Blood Tattoo series when I was younger (like 16 years younger :skull:) and the world setting overall was quite interesting. I’d love seeing it being put to use in an RPG or something.

The Painted Man has a quite good premise for an RPG as well, but if I recall correctly all the other books in the series were ultimately regressing in quality as well as shifting the focus from the story to bobs and veganas being the actual plot.

Didn’t notice this at first:

Yay - but really the rest of the series should be deleted. xd

as bad as it might sound, I didn’t really like the Arabian country part, much less when they started to invade the place the MC is from.

Did like his wife though;

Think this was the best Game of Thrones game but mostly the choice bits and betrayals Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series on Steam

so basically a crusader kings 3 but done as GoT?

Idk about that game, telltale games are basically pure story up to decisions, usually swapping between character view points and more dialogue strategy. We’re real popular for a few years with versions of borderlands and zombie game (last of us?).

But still very linear, easily could get similar experience watching a let’s play of it.
