Shooting is one of my hobbies too(a light hobby). I imagine there isn’t much for shooting ranges in Sweden & Europe? I used to never care for shotguns until I shot one. It was love at first boom. Games don’t do them justice. Unbelievably satisfying to shoot.
Aside from guns, I like tinkering with things. Especially computer related things. Experimenting is lots of fun for me. Used to go horse back riding a lot.
Oh, there’s a lot. Europeans actually have a lot of firearms xD Not as much as Americans, but there’s plenty. My father in law has a decent collection but he’s a hunter, doesn’t really go to the range. They’re extremely strict on owning them here. Even with the pistol club I spent a bit of time at. You have to train on a .22 for 6 months or something before you can “move up” to a .38. And it’s well over a year before you can apply to take them home. Not to mention all kinds of background tests and stuff. The easiest way is to get one here would be to go through the hunter route I guess. But I’m not really interested in hunting.
I still need to meet up with me mate for a bit of target practice. He’s mostly been shooting clay pigeons with his club lately.
Remember using the M240b on Battlefield and being so disappointed. I was the GPMG gunner for my section in the army XD Video games and movies normally do a terrible job when it comes to firearms.
Lifting, martial arts, shooting guns and making a little music. And riding the motorcycle.
Electric bikes! I work with them a lot, filming and writing reviews in addition to running a website and tech stuff. I’m actually selling my car and switching to bike-only transportation, more of a big deal here in the US where non-car transit often sucks, but I’m lucky to live in an area with lots of bike paths and bike lanes on most roads. Picture is of my recently acquired and tricked out Model X, which I’ve tweaked for max speed and can hit around 30mph on.
Plenty of firing ranges here in Switzerland at least. Lots of firearms too due to compulsory military service.
I believe Austria is similar.
I always considered weight lifting and exercise just a sort of part of life, but it’s absolutely something that’s a hobby, just an incredibly useful one. I do some of that too. I also enjoy cooking quite a lot and will one day organize an album of all the stuff I cook.
I think my main hobby right now is running RPGs. I enjoy being a GM (although I’d love to be a player in more games). I’m currently doing a Warhammer Campaign, using a slightly modified 2nd Edition WHFRPG and sort of tweaking the lore a bit.
