Issue: No EXP or Talent Points received after reaching level 30. Talent Tree progression stuck.

Hi Fatshark team,

Since the launch of Season 4 (Havoc), my Veteran has stopped gaining XP after reaching level 30. The XP bar is completely blank, and no additional Talent Points are rewarded after finishing missions (including Damnation difficulty and Havoc assignments).

I’ve tried:

  • Restarting the game
  • Playing multiple regular and Havoc missions
  • Completing high difficulty missions (e.g. Damnation)
  • Checking for game updates (everything is up to date)

Still, nothing moves. The Talent Tree is stuck with several unclaimed nodes, and EXP no longer accumulates at all.

This seems to be a bug introduced with the recent updates, possibly affecting post-30 level progression.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the XP bar to show the issue.
Thanks for looking into this — I’d love to finish the build for my character!

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Reach level 30 as Veteran (Sharpshooter).
  2. Complete multiple missions (Heresy, Damnation, Havoc).
  3. Observe that the XP bar remains empty.
  4. No Talent Points are granted after missions.

Level 30 is the maximum level for any character. It is not possible to use every talent at the same time! You can create additional loadouts for different talent combinations (aka “builds”) by hitting the + icon at the top right corner of the Operative menu.

Because level 30 is the upper limit of the current version
Unless FatShark plans to sell some DLC, selling it for $10 can increase the player’s level limit by 5 levels or something like that

But I’ve seen players with 50+ lvl… so are they just older players?

Either they were using True Level mod (if you were watching streamers/youtubers), or it was 40 at max, and is their Havoc level.

It’s just a mod to see the extra XP you gained

However you won’t get more talent points past level 30

Technically you do continue to accrue experience points but they do not display on vanilla. A mod can display your, and everyone else’s, true level though there is currently no direct use TMK for the extra points. Some use the information to try to gauge relative experience accrued by the player’s current character.
