That makes me sad as these free updates seem to have no sense of urgency.

I would be down for DLC for new classes and weapon bundles… If the crafting wasn’t awful.

How does that even work with DLC weapons? If I don’t buy the DLC… Do the weapons show up in the pool for armoury and melks saying “but DLC first”? What if a weapon DLC bundle has 5 weapons in it, but I am only interested in 1? I now have 4 weapons diluting my loot tables I don’t care for.

I really do think they need to fix a lot of the itemization and crafting stuff before (assuming if) they introduce a paid model for that stuff.

Reminds me of when they added the first new weapons for Darktide and nobody could actually get them post update because the store wasn’t updated on the backend and they wouldnt show up yet

Not to mention that, even worse when the Ogryn and Zealot Power Mauls were introduced you couldn’t buy greys from Brunts. It took me I think 2 weeks to get the Zealot power maul.

When the first new map was released they hadn’t locked them in to be guaranteed on the mission select, so many videos that would have been about “the new map” became “the mission selection system sucks”, and still does because now new maps take over existing slots for two weeks, reducing map selection choice significantly and also super skewing quick play.

weirdly that was one of the main things grasman was trying to do before going down the rabbit hole of the game’s attachment system. just making camos respect variant models. it is absolutely a thing that is just a single flag away from working, which is why its really stupid that they can’t give you extra versions of a skin like they already had done with the Mortis Operative ones. there every variant is respected. how hard is that when they already work that way with the camo patterns anyway?

if i have to pay to brick my own weapons at hadron i will go to sweden and open several cans of rotten fish in fatshark HQ
