Well, time to stop playing. Mortis being laughably even with just a duo is exactly what I expected. The mode could have been fun to solo but we don’t even have that. Not gonna bother with havoc and the game until havoc is fixed and we can play how often we want.

is the current event A Day At The Theater ongoing? Cause I cleared 3 malice difficulty rounds of Mortis, and I think some of the penances are counted. I got the first insignia.
However, the usual in game event progress tracker is not on the UI. Only the current weekly contracts are tracked. So… ? Help? Playing on PC, Xbox app.

We just found and fixed an issue that causes worse behavior on the right stick than the left. We hope to have it in an upcoming hotfix in the next couple weeks. When that fix is in, having 0.12 will be more responsive than it was before even at 0 (it was hard set to 0.24 outside of the settings).
If only the fixes were as hot as your responses.
Glad I don’t use controller.
Question
Looking at the patch notes, for Veteran we have the below changes:
Kill Zone
“We’re changing the conditions of both ‘Kill Zone’ and ‘Catch a Breath’, as they become increasingly difficult to meet on increased difficulties”
*** Changed Condition: ‘When no enemies are nearby’ to ‘When you haven’t gotten hit in melee for 8s’.**
Catch a Breath
“Reduced the Damage Bonus as it will now be much easier to meet the activation conditions”
*** Changed Condition: ‘When no enemies are nearby’ to ‘When you haven’t gotten hit in melee for 5s.’**
In game however they’re slightly different, both from the patch notes and from each other:
Kill Zone states “When you have avoided melee attacks for 8s” - seems to match the functionality of the notes even if the text is different, sounds like as long as you haven’t been hit for 8s the buff applies.
Catch a Breath states “When you haven’t been the target of a melee attack for 8s” - this sounds like it’s mechanically different from Kill Zone and the Patch Notes, this implies that if an enemy makes makes a melee attack, but doesn’t connect, you lose the buff.
Is this intended?
EDIT: also just started looking at the new Ogryn talents…I am flabbergasted that the Coherency bonus talents on opposite sides of the tree? Why is Towering Presence locked behind Steady Grip?

Yeah havoc is done as a game mode. As soon as people realize its going to now be even more difficult in general but also more difficult to climb with randoms theyre going to fleee the game mode in droves. Granted the difficulty should weed out the weak because alot of missions 25-30 were filled with absolutely horrible players who had little to no knowledge regarding crafting or making builds which would make it so that you have to hard carry them and drag them to the end of the mission or just lose and deal with it and that was before havoc got significantly harder. Thank god I beat a havoc 40 before these changes cuz now havoc is absolutely insane and your ability to lose a run is so much greater. All the more reason de ranking should not be a thing. Also i dont agree with people saying de ranking should exist because lots of people got carried to 40 because the increased difficulty is going to make alot of people quit anyway. You can get like 4 or 6 bosses at once or something insane like that now and that includes the twins and theyre horrible to deal with alone as is. I saw a video of someone getting like 4 bosses at once with twins to fight in a small area and someone was dead and they wiped instantly. Dont get me wrong lots of people love havoc but i dont think ill be attempting that many 40’s and especially not if the de ranking doesnt go away.

Could you pretty please pass on to the team to either revert to the deadzone settings to what they were before or to give us a deadzone for each stick?

But ‘RNG lore’ was a bad joke I made about the worst possible option.
Whoever is responsible for this, please inform them they need to keep their RNG fetish outside the workplace, and have HR kinkshame them. This is absurd.
Special Activations Reset by Stun
Several weapons which have a Special action activation could have their activation state reset after being stunned (including when hit by a melee attack).
6 months later, woohoo!
While the behavior was originally intended to balance the always-available nature of these powerful Special actions, player feedback indicated that this mechanic was not perceived as engaging, leading often to frustrating moments.
