This is BS! Why even have a Forum if FS will not engage its CUSTOMERS on said Forum? Why make people go to yet another site looking for info? Is there some ad revenue involved somehow? You should be making things easier for your CUSTOMERS.

You’ll see this patch had 53 pages of notes, with many details (especially around weapons).

Would you rather have just the text changes for the Weapons, and then have those detailed changes with the numbers as well live on the website?

Hah not quite! They did it the right way and, instead of just killing notifications like my mod was, they added new unobtrusive UI. An actual fix!

Another site? That’s the OFFICIAL WEB SITE.
Official websites have always been and should always be the primary way of listing patch notes, copy a segment and quote it here w/ tag if you want to address it. Forums/Reddit formatting etc. all have limitations, so discussions may span multiple post or pages.

I don’t see the issue…

@FatsharkStrawHat - tell the Devs to stop making minor changes just to break the mods.
Most of these have been that again.

Or… Make a UI you don’t need mods for?
But that would be too much. Even if 95% of the job has been done for Fatshark by the community modders.

Personally I think it’s fine. The things have gotten so long that it’s necessary and trying to wrangle formatting is a right pain. Putting the detailed notes in one place is SOP.

Ha, not many would love this more than my lazy arse, but realistically it’s not feasible and is part of the contract we entered with FS regarding mod support, this was always a known caveat.

FWIW most of the breaking changes have been really easy to fix for mine and a few other mods, I can’t speak for all of them OFC.

From your list only problematic right now:
-Scoreboard (boring to play without that one, should be supplied by FS)
-NumericUI (manual fix is there, but this should again be supplied by FS)
-Crosshair_Hud (hard crash on start of mission for me)

That Scrier’s Gaze buff needs to be reverted NOW

With seer’s precescne and cooldown reduction on curios alone you can get Scriers down to sub 20s cooldown, now remember psykinetics aura works while scriers is active and the ramp reduction making it last longer leading making it easier to reactivate the moment it finsishes (ontop of added buffs, base venting shriek has now become reduntant with only flames to it’s name, warp unbound basically giving an extra 10s of peril use without consiquence on top of other buffs to psyker and NOT A SINGLE NERF OR COOLDOWN INCREASE TO BALANCE IT OUT!?!

Fatshark, you made psyker more powerful in one change then you did Ogryn in an update supposed to make him more powerful. Why?!?

Honestly I think what you got setup here is great. Exactly the same method other companies use. Externally linking to a huuuuuge list of patchnotes to avoid making this post too crazy makes sense to me.

Fatshark will never nerf any class

FIFY, they had no trouble constantly directly and indirectly nerfing ogryn since #13, eventually requiring this new tree.

Someone in the office played too much mobas or mmos and think DT is about optimising cooldowns. I dunno, they should add spell bars and +3 ability to every class already. This gameplay shift from mechanocal skill to ability spam is already achieved absurd level.

BTW the staggers are still a mess, the Ripper bayonet special poke impact changes are somewhat meaningless, it still won’t stagger a Crusher like it used to before the stagger changes last spring, impact from 25 to 30 didn’t fundamentally address the issue.

Choosing the Transformer Model for DLSS Super Resolution from the in-game Options seems to enable Preset Model E, which is a rather odd/outdated choice. When DLSS4 came out, the “first” Transformer-based model was J, and it’s now up to K which is what get currently enabled if you override to “Latest” from the Nvidia App. Is this intended (using Preset Model E)?
As it is, I’d recommend people use the Nvidia App to force Latest model and not use the in-game option.

The new regime is a spit in the face to everyone who wanted a wasteland of chaos. 12 Waves, on difficulty 5 you don’t have to do anything at all, you roll your face on the keyboard and win.
Have you tested the simultaneous twins, which come out under the horde and a couple of monsters, or again trusted those 0.00000001% of geniuses that will pass the game with closed eyes?
Great idea, and I also like how you brag about writing 53+ pages, but there’s not a word about increasing boss resistances and other small changes that players shouldn’t know about, but have a coordinate effect on gameplay, well done.
