Yeah not making us pay for the best difficulty is great but it needs to be the actual balance of challenge and the heretics winning should be an assumed part of that.
Instead people want everything up to and including hi shock to be a walk because not getting 800 plasteel a session at the horrendous rate its lit on fire feels terrible.
Unless you played during that time it was just impossible to spend…which is why I focus more on how awful the dockets bottleneck unavoidably becomes. Make the perks +50% or something deng.
Yea I have almost2k hours in vermintide (Ps4+Steam) and haven’t hit 500 hours in darktide yet. I’m surprised he got that much end-game enjoyment with all those hours.
Despite this statement, and your reply, it’s besides the OP point and irrelevant when you look at the flaws of the endgame content. All of his points are valid. Almost everything about endgame progression is questionable and the sad part is despite the absolute core of this game being one of the genre’s very best; The progression/endgame content is near (if not is) the worst in the INDUSTRY.
They said they aren’t. What that means, and to what extent who knows. Could be as small as increased drop rates tomorrow or it could be an entire crafting rework 3 years from now.
This is true, but also sad as it makes trying new weapons very hard… It is almoste like the new marks do not exist untill i randomly find an ok one in melks.
So sad that FS do not understand the concept of player angency = more happy players = more players paying for cosmetics and playing the game. Use patch 13 as proof^^
From what i have heard it is a 50/50 split around the round table of FS, when it comes to removing player time inflation from their game. Some people try to blame tencent, but these types of decisions tend to be lower in the hirarchy and therefor falls to the sweeds
The “Funny thing” is that even while VT2 had a many times better crafting system than DT, it was also kinda unninteresting and grindy, but if you got a bricked red item you could just turn it into red dust and have 1/5 of the weapon you wanted!
In DT if you almost get what you need, but it is still worse or the same as the one you already have, you get 8k docets (aka 1-3k less docets that you need for a new 300-339 brunt item) .
It’s very, very similar, including the ‘power budget’ that will never let you achieve max in all stats. It looks very much like Fatshark looked at Division 2, learned all the wrong lessons, and copied the worst parts of it.
