Reminded of Vermintide 2, when they had the twitch integration and people could vote or it would just randomly select for fate. I really liked that for some end game pain and would love to see it introduced in Darktide but I think it would be funny to call it “Emperor’s whim” without any kind of twitch integration. But it would be a regular map, maybe a modifier, and then the map “Director” or however it would play out would be random rolls for a group of elites, a boss, spoils, deployable healing station, random things that spicy it up. Reminds me a big of a Chef’s Whim at fancy restaurants, where you get a 3, 5, 7 + Course meal. The key here is we need some kind of voice over that is funny and relevant Emperor’s voice. Kind of like the quotes from the loading screen but “Emperor shall protect” “Purge the wicked” “Loyalty Shall be Rewarded with Punishment” or maybe squad leader can pop up and be like “Something big is coming, better reload”
