As a veteran of VT2 I’ll say they’re pumping out maps pretty damn quick compared to the first 5(!) years.

I’d like something new or an extension/conclusion to Sofia’s storyline.

Wasn’t Sofia’s storyline accomplished with Sienna fusing with her ?

It isn’t a grand ending, but it’s one

suit neuron thinks “playerbase small, playerbase small = no money”

Lohner: “Keep your eyes sharp, heroes. The skies over the Reikland aren’t the only thing changing. My scouts are reporting unsettling storms to the south, right near the borders of the Grey Mountains. Something foul is brewing, and it smells of more than just a summer rain.”

The gathering gloom:

"The view from the rooftops of Ubersreik has grown grim. Looking south toward the Grey Mountains, one no longer sees the sharp peaks, but only a heavy, bruise-colored mass that moves against the prevailing winds. It is a thick, unnatural fog that swallows the light and chokes the air with the metallic tang of a coming storm.

Travelers stumbling into the city from the Stromdorf road tell of a rain that burns like lye and thunder that speaks in tongues. They speak of the ‘Leaden Sky’—a phenomenon where the clouds hang so low they touch the forest canopy, hiding whatever Skaven or Rotblood filth marches beneath them.

Most concerning are the reports that this gloom is not drifting aimlessly. It is coiling, like a serpent finding its nest, around the ruins of the mountainside. It seems the old Wizard’s Tower is the center of this rot, and whatever shadow was banished there years ago is finally finding its way back into the world. We are no longer watching a storm; we are watching a siege."
