I played 10 auric damnations in a row this morning. You just walk forward, hit the trigger, get the noise indicator, then wait for them to come out in a big group and aoe spam/kill them in a couple hits and then move forward. I didn’t notice more in ambients (or much at all, I only got two histg and the rest were lights out or vent purge), but it was incredibly easy to deal with the occasional pat spawn as it was often separated from any actual horde or boss trigger or they showed way too late, allowing us to clear the hordes and bosses before there was any sense of combined threat.
Oh wow! I did not realise; I didn’t see the thread, just on wandering into the game I saw the announcement and I thought it would be as usual as per previous events. I played two regular missions with it, which was evidently an error then. Oh well, best grit my teeth and go into Auric then.
Sadly its not that exciting, I was hoping for a lot of ambient Crushers and so on, or huge packs of them spawning in but even on damnation it felt like you would get 3-4 spawned packs of maybe 6-8, and just frequent plague ogryn spawns.
Def one of the easier modifiers and honestly it was hard to tell it was modified.

Yes I feel it should have a lot more Ogryns. Feels normal with the modifier.

No idea what you are playing then xd, over 150 in my last mission on heresy.
Event is amazing for farming Bulwark, Reaper, and Crusher kill penances!

not great, not terrible, again if only one HISTG of it would be around at any time.
at least the heaps of scrap metal make for a nice melee meat grinder

i’m literally crashing out bro this entire day ive seen like 1 heresy and 1 damnation high intensity missions zero high shock. 90% of them are dogs and power outage/vent purge

Yeah I’ve seen so many dogs too. Pretty boring as they keep interrupting the fight and jumping through entire packs of crushers to disable me. They’re such fun sponges
