So i need to Post this again, as recommended!

Where i live the Prices went up again on the New Class and the Premium Cosmetics!
Its was getting out of Hand before, but now it hit the Fan finally!

When the Game launched we had to Pay as i remember (you can Post if oyu have definitiv Prices)
2400 Aquila for a Premium Pack, Weapons included. I mean also “unique Packages”

Now over the Years we are up from 2400- 2900 for a Premium Skin, NO WEAPON INCLUDED…

Yes, tehre are still 2400 Aquila sets but still. MOst of them are reused stuff.
The newest ones “Ordo Hereticus/ Witchhunter” are 2900, no Weapon inlcuded…
Yes, they look damn awesome excellent work from the Designer, but still.

Guys really, this cannot stand. We need as many Posts as possible here

I live in Switzerland and its getting out of Hand. Not everyone in Switzerland is rich or in any other Country. But we always pay the Prices that are ridicoulous. I know for a Fact that other Countries dont pay much less, or less at all.

Cosmetics should support the Dev´s for the Game we Love and not suck us the Playerbase dry, every time. I really dont mind spending my hard earned Money i make on working on the Railways on this Game. Its out of Control!

ARBITRATOR/ ADEPTUS ARBITES
Well, everyone that played Vermintide 2 knows for a Fact that the Deluxe Packages were more reasonably Priced for the work the Dev´s had put in.

As i remember we payed 10 bucks for the first Week or so (Deluxe Version) with lots more Cosmetics. After it went up to 15 bucks. I find this reasonable for the months of work they. New Weapons, Skins, Voicelines, Class itself.

Arbites was for me 18,90Fr.- which is more than a lot. Less Cosmetics and higher Price…
NO INTRODUCTORY PRICE THE FIRST WEEK!

So for me and i think lot of you Guys, “we feel milked” and Unheard yet again. Its disgusting behaviour to the Loyal Fanbase from V1-V2 and to Darktide who stood with the Company over all the “weird things” that happend.
What do we get? Yes, even higher Prices to support the Game… jeez

Cosmetics should not Cost an exorbitant Amount, its should invite People to buy it, play out their Fantasy as funny as it sounds. I´ve seen alot of Players doing kinda or fully committing to their Character over and over again, which is super Fun to see and play with.
I remember a “Krieg Clone” he was only answering in “cough” and “…” or “… …” which was hilarious. We played with Headset my Buddy and me as always and when we did Tactics with teh Team, this Guys only answered like this.
Can you imagine a Group of Krieg playing together and only typing “…” like this and answering forth and back :rofl:

Yeah, well WE NEED TO RISE UP AGAIN LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!
The Prices are higher again for no bloody reason.

In my MInd and not only mine im sure, you cant reason with, “we got more Employes than before”. This wont Cut it in the End. Yes FS you do, buit you also got way, way more Sales fo this Game alone in the beginning and after than Vermintide. Bigger Playerbase, lots of new Faces.
Also and that is a lot of People believes since the beginning when we all had this Conversation about Prices over and over, “FS going to Tencent” changed their behaviour when it comes to that. I dont know, it worked before with sustaining the Company with less Poeple, less Players.
WHY WOULD YOU WANNA F´UP OYUR PLAYER BASE?!
WHY MAKE THEM ANGRY ALL THE TIME, WITH RIDICLOUS BEHAVIOUR?!

I don’t think there’s been an increased price in the shop since Oct 2023, when we first saw the Krieg cosmetics.

Yes and no.

The bundles have remained 2400 or 2900…but they also started removing skins and trinkets FROM those bundles and selling them separately at a markup (for instance, ranged weapon skins used to be 300 if purchased separately, and now go for 700-900).

The overall effect is that you pay twice as much for the same amount of stuff as found in the bundles at launch.

And the fault is on players…
DLC price is fine. Cosmetics are NOT.

Especially because they give you literally no other choice (2 skins by penance is not a choice)

I don’t recall exactly when the “stripped” sets came back, but I’m fairly certain they actually came back at 2100 instead of 2400. And we’ve had 700/900 weapon skins since 23 too iirc.

Yes you can argue about 3Fr.-/ $/ Euro (Class Cost) whatever, but still. I got the same Value as i did with all the DLC CLasses on V2, so…
Im just a bit dissapointed, like i should.

I dont want another CD Projekt Red. There was a big reason behind lots of People left, namely Greed in the Company. At least that was obvious even for Players iMHO
This happens when you sell your Soul to greedy Companies. You can argue that maybe, maybe FS couldnt have pulled the Level of Quality this Game has (yes we have Bugs and all, Performance was bad, you get it) without the support of Tencent. I am happy for FS that they get noticed big time in that regard, but still.

Pretty sure it went up again. 2100-2400-2800-2900 and less inside the package.

*At least this time, they show the related Weapon skins right away with it like they did with Krieg on Skullday.

We can agree that Ordo Hereticus are very Unique and look badass and some work was put behind that, but so was it on Vermintide 2.
More reasnobale Prices. in DT you have way bigger Playerbase at least on Paper. Looks like that has something to do with it?! 30k-40k is just more Popular than Warhammer Fantasy in General.

Well surely you are posting this as someone who has bought neither premium cosmetics nor Arbites yeah?

Because if not, I’m sorry, but Fatshark already has your money, your protests matter little if you can’t exercise basic discipline with your wallet.

Personally I was on the fence about Arbites, but the cosmetic scandal has turned it into a hard no for me for now.

There’s only one kind of protest here that actually works but most of you are too soft and consumer pilled to actually follow through with it.

Is the game a good value?

Comparatively, yes. I’ve 2K hours with this game over a couple years. $50 over a couple years with DLC isn’t half bad.

I get it. I want to be sympathetic. We’re all feeling the pain these days, but at the end of the day, a guy has to eat and we make choices with what and how we spend our time and money. The game is perfectly enjoyable without the extra cosmetics and even the extra class, so…

So u dont want the 27 Voice actors, and we talking about the Voice actors alone, not be paid fair?
You cant compare Vermintide new Class to this… and the price is almost nothing for us in the Swiss, grow up.

Yes the ingame Shop can be greedy. but again Tencent exist. enough said.

I agree with you guy

Personally, and I don’t know if you would agree, this is really personal opinion, I want that:

  • they lower prices. Ideally cutting by half.. at least that we get the old bundles like we had. So a set and a weapon skin and a tricklet for the price of 2100 aquilas.
  • bring back weapons color pack that would impact ALL weapons
  • update the cosmetics:
    • Add to weapon color packs the new weapons
    • Add to arbites several cosmetics in commissary, a cosmetic version for Havoc, cosmetic versions for the penance (blue cosmetics of Moebian 6)
  • REMOVE FOMO totally. This point is the most important. Enough with the FOMO store.
