Every update you break something new. Every update you cause more lag or issues. Every update a mod is broken. Every update is trash. The team assigned to Darktide should be utterly ashamed. I would laugh if the entire team was just straight up fired. I wouldn’t have an ounce of regret or sorrow because that’s exactly what they deserve. VT2 team makes you guys look like 2 year olds playing with blocks.

tbf to them, they don’t officially support mods. It’s up to the mod authors to keep things up to date. Otherwise, yah, it’s fs’s m.o. to reintroduce bugs that had been removed in previous patches, etc. I also wouldn’t go as far to say they should be ashamed, but it gets a bit silly sometimes.

Mods are not officially supported so that is a moot point in itself. (Needing a bat file patcher should be self explanatory enough)
And v2 historically had more than enough screwed updates, for instance the couple weeks after launch where they updated the wrong branch of the game.
The quality has never been particularly good.
Doesn’t change the fact this game still has major performance issues this long after release. Doesn’t change the fact their servers are trash. Doesn’t change that they practically break one thing or another with EVERY update. Doesn’t change that mods are providing basic QoL that the game should of implemented in the first year, instead we get patches fixing their sh*t cosmetics.
If that’s an issue then just stop playing / refund the game. Like i do agree this sort of patching is unacceptable, but this has really been widely known since the first vermintide game and if after 10 odd years of doing this they haven’t improved then no amount of complaints now will change it.
Only voting with wallet might.
