Nerf zealot being able to speedrun solo

That is true. I guess I would prefer being rewarded with actual meaningful gear we could craft from scratch rather than needing to spam buy stuff from a vendor in greys and hoping for a good roll

thats your fault i have 2000 hours and i have 2mil dockets 300k plasteel and 100k diamantine with most of the docket shop bought out.
using the mats you gain is on you fatshark shouldnt need to tell you how to spend.

Umm, what are you talking about my dude? lmao. you okay?

Im not a fan of spending a lot of time trying to find a group, and even less a fan of talking while playing, i just wanna play. I dont even care much if some teammate hoarding ammo or dies like a newbie, but purposfully running away and not getting punished is what should be changed. 99% of players use quickplay anyway so its not only my problem.

And i really want to know if devs even care about changing something about it. More progression walls or nerfs, anything.

And by the way - i think its ok to clutch solo when everyone died, but not for an entire game and when your teammates are alive.

Good thinking, but I’m pretty sure PvP is a long way off.

You’re just jealous

Boss walls are a terrible mechanic. Players should have the option to use the map to their advantage and not get blocked by a random boss wall.

If there is a spot farther in the level that someone wants to lure a boss to kite better (ie. big open space or lots of verticality) but there is a boss wall in the way, then it creates these weird meta-gamey scenarios that I would rather be avoided. The best play is now no longer an option because of an arbitrary boss wall.

The game already has anti-speedrun mechanics that work fine and can be built upon further if needed. Airlocks, elevators, and rush intervention.

Events could be changed to no longer start/progress while a boss is alive to force players to kill it.

I don’t trust Fatshark to implement boss walls correctly even if they try. There are numerous instances of spawning captured players past the boss wall and preventing revives in Vermintide 2. There are spots in Darktide where walking up to captured players will just teleport them ahead to the next revive spot.

Boss walls are bad. They are an ugly, gimmicky, band-aid solution.

Yeah my thinking was more along the lines of “what if Fatshark didn’t forget about why they implemented boss walls and designed the levels so you can’t just sprint through them by adding actual sensible ways to block a speedrunner from speedrunning?”
Nope, commsplex and archivum sycorax

It’s possible to run solo and get all rewards for missions, it’s just hard, but not harder than getting shocking stuff penance normal way.
