It seems there’s no way for the party leader to kick a player from the group in the Mourningstar. This means you can invite someone from party finder, then find out that they’re not eligible to play a Havoc mission, and have no way to get them out of the group unless they choose to leave. If they don’t leave, everyone else ends up having to leave the group instead. This is completely unacceptable and it boggles my mind that the devs would have implemented a party finder without this basic feature.
Fyi, to fix this bug, all players need to go and open the havoc terminal, then the host will be able to launch the game.
This has so far fixed the issue 5/5 times since discovering it.
Agreed. Also, if they’re ineligible, they shouldn’t be able to join in the first place and get a message telling them so.
There is a way, just remove yourself from the group and re-invite.
@kqgee
Can you name any other game with a grouping system that makes you jump through hoops like this? It’s pretty clear to me that a party leader should be able to remove someone from their own group without leaving and reforming the group.
not that I disagree but for some reason Fatshark built it so there’s no party leader. So their options were between letting everyone kick and letting nobody kick. It’s definitely stupid and they should change it but it’s also one of those things that I’m not sure they’re competent enough to just rework real quick.
The inbetween solution would be allowing votekicks on the mourning star.
Any nintendo game with multiplayer, Vermintide 2 requires a vote, Exoprimal.
As far as darktide lobby, I dont see leaving a lobby and inviting your friends back as an issue. Plus I’ve only had less than a handful of games where players stay and its never because they are trolling, its because we dominated and they want to keep winning.
