Necessity of Proper Reworks/Improvements for *"Moonfire Bow"* & *"Shade's Volley Crossbow"*

Obviously not. Amelia was OBVIOUSLY talking about moonfire (which had infinite cleave uber dot aoe damage on release with a ““beautiful”” blue effect) as did i which was evident in the quote which you would have noticed if you were actually somewhat familiar with the game.

Legend player reading comprehension be like:

nope, Ensrick’s right
the fact they removed the aoe, just made the bow flat, in fact it is never ever used anymore
and if you think it is a weapon that’s being used, you are wrong. a longbow is way better than a moonfire bow.

i doubt, considering i did weaves

and soloed and duoed fow cata

javelins overnerfed but moonfire bow perfectly balanced right
when javelins back then were the most op thing ever, even better than pre nerf moonfire bow
for cleave it had

also imo wrong, if used well it is way better damage than moonfire bow
can deal so massive damage if used well, was used to rat ogre dance + looping troll by headshotting them even if swarmed by everything. and requires skill to preserve ammo with it
moonfire gutted the same as javelins, and nerfed because of complaints from people getting slapped by the friendly fire aoe, which then removed

what made strong moonfire back then was the ammo consumption and fire dot which they fixed now, making it flat due to not having the aoe, they could just nerfed the ammo consumption, and fire dot from the aoe

How to say you’re an elitist jack***, without saying you’re an elitist jack*** :joy::joy:

Agree, Longbow was my favorite when I started playing and I still love it now. It’s versatile to handle any situation and has plenty of ammo provided you use it when needed and not overdo it for horde or ambients clear.

Dude stop acting so combative for no reason and grow up

Its got it’s moments and nobody would ever call it weak. But it’s also one of the most mind numbingly boring weapon out there thanks to its redundant moveset…in spite of how cool they always look.

I was speaking more about how fun it can be. I found a couple builds with zealot and merc that make it more powerful. Especially on Zealot with his +50% attack speed, +75% during ult and 30% power bonus, it becomes extremely good melee AOE; can’t find a weapon on Zealot that’s as effective with those bonuses since it cleaves so well, and does enough raw damage on him to handle any enemy.

In a way, all weapons get bland when you get used to the moveset, and so I was having fun with greatsword by synergizing it’s cleave strength with talents.
