Maybe it’s because Vet might have problems that aren’t subjective but objective?
It’s not just people who play Vets as their main that agree that they have issues.
I don’t think the Vet is all that bad. The Vet is perfectly playable, but feels a bit janky.
The Vet’s problem is that the tree is very restrictive in terms of crossover points, has some very clear “this talent is clearly better than the others” issues (particularly Auras), and the Keystones are last-minute post-facto hamfisted afterthoughts which in many ways are more conceptually suited to a TTRPG than a real-time action shooter (or that result in perverse incentives, like MF actually doing more for short range automatic weapons than long range precision weapons). The Vet is the only class that consistently works well without a Keystone at all, which I don’t suspect was intended. In terms of raw power level I don’t think the Vet is in a terrible place, but I don’t think the Vet talent tree was ever terribly well internally conceived by Fatshark.

I’m not disagreeing with how Vet have issues.
I just wanted to read discussion about Vet without cringing every time someone do the ‘Everyone hate Vet’ ‘Vet is worthless trash’ ‘Vet vs the world’ or ‘if you disagree with me you’re a Zealot’ bit.

Yeah, there’s not a super diverse tree filled with many good options & I hope eventually they change this. It’s like you have the 1-2 meta options with certain weapons/loadouts & that’s it at least for higher difficulties to succeed unless you’re great at the game. Other than that, he’s just okay. I don’t see him being fixed anytime soon. He’s probably one of the worst classes in the game just about. He’s not total dogsht, granted… If you can aim & shoot, you’ll be fine. He doesn’t bring much to the table other than gold toughness spam & maybe taking out some key targets. I feel that Arby in a bunch of cases makes him just about obsolete almost.

They said the other Classes are getting a Rework too and that they are working on a Zealot Rework too first as of now.
I think only after that we can fairly evaluate whoever is OP.
Because if Zealot and the others get the same kind of Rework like Ogryn did…imagine how Zealot or Psyker are going to be then lol and the Skill required for them is going to drop down a lot too.
