Fun. Fun will always be the superior class. Whatever class you have fun playing will be the best. Don’t listen to anyone else’s opinion. (Just mine of course) Don’t waste your time watching Youtube trying to find the “Best Class” or “Best Build”. Play what makes you happy. It’s a GAME. You are supposed to be PLAYING. You like that auto pistol, claw sword combo for your Psyker, then do it. Play the hell out of it and have a blast!
Seen a few arguments about every class and their builds and Feats, weapons, and viability. And for some people that technical stuff is the fun. They love it. And they should. But don’t try to ruin other people’s enjoyment because they like a weapon, or skill, or class that you think is garbage. Play the game. Have some fun.
It’s still a few days away, but Merry Christmas everyone!
I started beta with Ogryn because I was least interested in it and I didn’t want to burn out during beta on classes I was looking forward to, but it turned out Ogryn is one of my favorite classes to play.
I love Zealot because I personally find it really fun and fulfilling. Everyone should find what they find fun and fulfilling in the game, and nothing else really matters in that regard.
But yeah - while you can yell at Fatshark about class balance, it’s neat to have fun with all of them. Ogryn remains my favorite because he’s absolutely hilarious to hear but all four are good to me.
I love playing my Ogryn main, especially to cosplay as Bullgryn, but also experimenting with him and try some stuff perhaps sometimes some weird stuff.
But I also love every other class in its special own way. For me every single class has something I like about it. And I love to experiment with them to find my personal style with them.
Sometimes this leads to less effective builds, sometimes it leads to “exotic” builds, sometimes wonders happen … but well I’m not that Emperor blessed to have invented sth “meta” yet
Oh well, I don’t actually care what class, weapon, or whatever you are using. Everything can be made to be atleast okay. All I care about is that people are playing the objectives, staying in coherency, being somewhere the team can help them if they go down. If I have to pick you up every single big fight, if you keep needing to be rescued from being a casualty, if you are constantly so far out of position that you need us to make a gambit to rescue you. I’m no longer having fun, because now I have to work harder to make up for you.
IIRC, the ‘threads die if nobody posts for a week’ thing was implemented only going forward and didn’t kick in retroactively so it takes someone reviving them to make it actually kick in.
