Darktide is ostensibly a harder game than Vermintide 2. There are numerous and dangerous ranged enemies, elites (crushers, maulers, reapers, etc) are much more tanky and dangerous than they were in VT2 and self-sustain via toughness is alot weaker than temporary health in VT2. With this in mind, I don’t understand why melee has been nerfed so significantly compared to VT2.
