I just wanted to ask you one thing concerning muties.
For a veeery long time i have been avoiding Mutants safely by sliding, sometimes even close to their direction. Recently i have noticed it doesn’t work anymore - they grab me 100% of the time if i slide even diagonally in quite different direction than their direction.
Did you encounter sth similar? Is it on purpose? I find it ridiculous & stupid to be honest since mutants are big and it’s weird that they are able to catch me like that when i’m already “lying” on the floor and they are running super fast…
I don’t see a big change. I may have been grabbed a little more than before, but I had not seen there was a change. If you had not created the thread, I think I would have missed totally that they changed something.
For dogs, I use the push. It works pretty good. Dodge is a mistake against them.
As for the muties i’ve learned to slide - it looked like in the movie - they were speeding toward me, and i was running toward them and in the final momoment i slid (absolute cinema lol). Like i’ve said - SHAME, for it made sense and it fit the hectic ambience.
I am getting caught by mutants more often now. Maybe I was getting lazy. Too reliant on their turning circle and just dodging or literally strafing with no dodge to a position I knew they couldn’t curve around to.
Would be nice if it was a bug rather than my skill issue
Hounds just get magnetized, i literally saw how i stood 3 meters from their leap trajectory and still got dogged, because during leap it got glued to me.
Didn’t notice much change with mutants, i mostly get grabbed because i don’t dodge and think that they can’t curve my way, but they can.
It’s crazy how mutants can do these hairpin turns while charging as full speed. I’ve been caught before by underestimating their ability to violate the laws of physics.
