Mouse lag problem possibly unrelated to my heavy stuttering problem

Seems WASD is smooth, but I can’t play like that. When I use my mouse (Logitech G903) I get a stutter every few seconds. I also get a stutter when the fat shark is just about to crash into the screen in the opening video when starting the game. I can’t fathom why this would be related to my mouse, and it used to happen earlier in the video. During gameplay normal mouse movement results in a frequent hang-and-skip, overshooting simple panning.

I never used to experience this. Please advise.

Please try a Selective Startup and see if the issue persists:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC
  6. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal, and see if the issue persists

The issue still persists. The fat shark still paused before impact, but when I got into the game I thought the issue was resolved. After running around in the crumbling tower for about 30 seconds, the intermittent (every 2-5 seconds) stutter returned.

Is there anything else I should try?

It may sound irrelevant, but which other USB devices do you have plugged in?

Just a PS3 controller, using SCP software to be able to use it. I don’t use it for Vermintide 2 though.

Edit: I unplugged my PS3 controller and loaded up the game. The stuttering persisted.
