Melee Input Delay?

Hi

I played he tutorial, normal and advanced and game
is it just me or melee attacks are extremely slow?

I press the attack btton and 2 seconds later the character moves the weapon

the first attack works often, the second attack works seldm, the third attack almost never works

this makes melee combat extremely unreliable and dangerous and annoying

Which weapon? A few of the weapons still have input lag, but the majority are pretty responsive at this point.

I think the issue might be the input buffer. It is very short compared to, say, VT2, which gives you the option to adjust the length with a slider
