Make flashlight more interesting

Right now having a flashlight on a weapon feels underwhelming. It helps on dark missions but outside of that it is useless compared to a stun special action.

Perhaps the flashlight could draw inaccurate incomming fire to ease pressure on teammates at the cost of enemies noticing the flashlight and the user taking more aggro? On night maps enemies also do not notice the flashlights unless they are deamonhosts which is kind of weird.

Would just like to have the special action have some sort of tactical impact to consider having it switched on or not.

I once suggest light toggle while ADS and physical shove attack while on hip fire.

A super light with battery reload would also be fun/funny homage to original teaser squad

Haha, you think the mob AI allows for that? It’s a full on wallhack, with very limited behaviours. Just observe how gunners occasionally just full-auto at players through solid walls and just stand there. There is no enemy perception simulation at all. Once they are aware of your existence, darkness, or smog they shot at you with full accuracy.

What I would like from flashlights is decent quality headlamps, which make lights-out missions more attractive for players who value their eye sight.
