Im just bored of the same modifiers over and over again and would like to see more, truth be told. Plus itd also get ppl used to the modifiers and hopefully make’em better at Havoc since they can learn to handle these things while still at full strength functionally.

Should clarify I also want some Havoc Modifiers in Maelstroms, like the Deamonhost Rituals and Infected Armor stuff. Sucks a lot of players miss out on them thanks to Havoc being mostly dead these days.
Yes, for me majority of the Maelstrom modifiers ruin that game mode. HISTG tends to be harder than those, which is pretty funny. HISTG should be the Maelstrom BASELINE, with more interesting modifiers on the top of it. Static waves of snipers, hounds and mutants aren’t really that.
All of the HiSTG modifiers are part of all but 3 (out of 19) Auric Maels. The 3 that don’t have all the HiSTG modifiers are only missing the waves of specials component. 1) I-E-F: Hounds + Nurgles Blessing + Ability CD. 2) B-VIII-V-F: Vent Purge + Mostly Ranged. 3) D-III-VII-IX-G: Waves of Mutants + Hounds + Bursters + Enhanced Blitz
You don’t want to play hounds or snipers for the 236,473,256,462th time?
Two which I kind of like are:
- Nurgle-Blessed Monstrous Shock Troop Gauntlet (Scab Enemies Only) (Extra Grenades) (I-II-V-E-G)
- Shock Troop Gauntlet (Melee Scab Enemies Only) (C-I-VI)
Other Monstrous are also “fine”, but missing that High Intensity + Shock Troop aspect, which is pretty sad for ANY Maelstrom modifier which doesn’t have those two. Everyone is entitled to their opinion…but Hunting Grounds, Mutant waves, snipers, but themselves are just a waste of AWS server time.
Fatshark should really run some sort of a regular survey, to gather feedback about existing and future content.
Snipers are the most annoying thing in the world, especially when there is like 5 of them off map and so far away from u that unless ur using a bolt pistol you ain’t gonna hit’em.
But yeah, being honest Maelstrom is like the “FUN END GAME” when compared to Havoc. Havoc, atm, it just: “How many Crushers can we send their way?”, Maelstrom atleast has that chaotic difficulty that doesn’t get boring - But it lacks any fun modifiers! Honestly I wish they’d add more modifiers more than maps at times, as if the gameplay was just changed up them the game wouldnt get so stale.
This Dev’ team needs to look at Chaos Waste Modifiers from VT2 and think of their own to add into Maelstrom, and Havoc Modifiers (But Havoc can keep Rotten Armor).
