Lucius Helbore Lasguns need a damage buff

I second this. Boltgun is a very strong option on Zealot with a good mix of damage increase talents, attack speed increase, and the option of FotF ultra rending. Zealot’s general melee power, superb mobility, and more synergistic Blitz options (Knives and Strum) also enable Bolter as a good option to blow up heavy targets while making its clumsiness (pullout, reload) a nearly non-issue.

On Vet it just doesn’t feel right at all mainly due to the almost exclusively weakspot focus of the ranged side of the tree. It doesn’t even feel good running hybrid like the Middle/Right side due to missing some of the above-mentioned things the Zealot has.

Thing is, a game like that would have a longer lifespan and be easier to balance. Many smaller advantages/ drawbacks equals more more things that can be changed slightly to produce a precise result.

Right now ObeseTubafish (credit to the person who came up with that) has gone with “every problem is a nail and our only tool is a jackhammer”. With no indication that they intend to stop.

So yeah… We can dream. Maybe someday. But it sure won’t be these amateur clowns or their fanboys pulling it off.

it would be nice with a slight damage buff to have them in between the other semiautomatic lasguns

Also I would not mind long swap time if bayonet is even more impactful, like Grenade Gauntlet for example, that thing could smash Crusher’s head in easily while still being pretty good range weapon.

I’m not saying make the bayonet good against Crusher but maybe improve it so holding alt button make you go into guard stance and add more cleave to it so you can kind of use it as pseudo melee weapon and don’t have to keep swap to melee when anything approch.

i wonder how the helbore (or any other bayonet gun) would feel if it got the ogryn grenade gauntlet treatment
like if left clicking was melee, right click aims for ranged and special attack was a block

just straight up a melee weapon you can also blast people with

That behaviour fits a gauntlet but not a long range, precision rifle.

If the bayonet has to be useable, I’d like to see it allow a bayonet charge with followup stabs if the charge doesn’t kill.

Other than that, give us the option to replace the bayonet with flashlights. I know that there’s a mod for that

Movement speed buffs + Bayonet Charge = Lots and lots of fun.
