They said about different routes and how fantastic they are. I played the map 4-5 times, still no idea what are those. 
I just go whatever path is before me or after others.

map is cool but sadly its scripted for the most part (as all recent maps are ) so we have no hordes, specials or even deeds working on 90% of the map
