Loosing control of my character moments after joining

Issue Description (Required):

Since yesterday (I haven’t been playing for a bit, but I did play within this latest expedition rotation without issues) I literally can’t play the game because within moments i lose control of my character: he’ll keep moving forward no matter what, today I couldn’t even switch back to my melee weapon while helplessly trying to correct course.

I haven’t encountered any problem with other games

EDIT: after some testing and with the help of a friend, it looks like I activated the gaming mode of my keyboard, functionally switching the arrows and wasd keys. I’m still not sure why that happened to me twice on different days and only on DT. I’ll update this

EDIT 2: it wasn’t even that. my problem was that windows was switching keyboard layouts with shift+alt (sprint sliding). I had disabled that in the past, but I dunno. Anyway, I can cancel the post, but it might be helpful to some other unlucky windows user.
