Looks like a bit too many mods

Pretty light, I can still see the game. Where’s the glowing circles, stock trade ticker, CNN news banner, live feed of an influencer reacting, fingerless glove meter, semen remaining and the social insurance numbers of all heretics on screen?

Ah yes, Cruelty Squad, love that game

How many games is that even.

I recognize:

  • Team Fortress 2
  • Minecraft
  • Lego Star Wars
  • GTA 3 (I think ? )
  • PUBG
  • Overwatch
  • HoI4
  • Sims (Top left) ?

Even with all the changes, it would be foolish to deny this guy’s skill.

Agreed, yeah his hud UI looks like visual vomit but if he plays well with it then who cares, right? Modding is like tuning a car, everybody has the seats adjusted to suit their body, a tall person needs a bigger car while a smaller person doesn’t, etc.

It’s San Andreas.

Is that the Portal crosshairs?

That’s true, of course, but how much lower would his damage be without all those bells and whistles? And the most interesting part is, he’s far from being the site’s record holder. Off the top of my head (the site isn’t working for me right now for some reason), there are at least two players whose record DPS is 30–40% higher than his record DPS. How are things with mods for them then?

lol, “it’s just tuning”.

Not to be outdone by the usual reddit posts

You or @Gideon404 should make a legitimate semen remaining meter mod, I bet many people would add it to their microsoft task bar of in game UI. Equally as worthless information as Crusher in front of the enemy, but it needs to be there. Make it dynamically drain when idle and fill on kills (renamed zinc replenishment).

Aha, time to flex my SUPERIOR game knowledge. So here’s what I recognize:

  • TF2
  • Cuphead
  • Overwatch
  • XCOM
  • LEGO Star Wars
  • Papa’s Freezeria
  • GTA SA
  • Hotline Miami
  • POSTAL 2
  • DayZ
  • Pokemon GO
  • Civilization V
  • Bloons TD 5
  • Fallout 3
  • Half-Life 2
  • Minecraft
  • Payday 2
  • Rocket League
  • Terraria
  • Fallout 4
  • Portal
  • Rust

*light cosmetic upgrades for an armwrestling competition* the guy in question

Do you judge skill solely by damage per second?
What do you think would happen to 99.9% of players if they found themselves in these situations with every mod under the sun?

We haven’t actually seen any clutches from those Psykers yet, and I couldn’t find any videos showing who has a top DPS that’s 38% higher than his personal best. I wouldn’t rule out that those clutches don’t even exist and they just can’t clutch at all. But pulling off a higher DPS than an already top-tier Psyker who is tricked out with mods to the absolute max — that, they can definitely do

Perhaps I should elaborate. Given his far-from-record DPS, I have every reason to believe there are players packed with macros, mods, scripts, cheats, and God knows what else even more heavily than he is—though you’d think it couldn’t get any crazier. And these guys play a ton and try incredibly hard, pulling off high DPS and clutching up games. Because of this, I believe they can influence the developers’ future balancing decisions, gradually making the game less and less playable for those who use fewer tools and tweaks to assist their gameplay

You can play as an Inferno Psyker, recruit three Ogrins to your team—using Taunt and Shields—who will just spam their ults and push with their shields. And move very slowly across the entire map.
Congratulations—that way, you’ll be in first place on this leaderboard.
And there’ll be yet another forum post claiming that Inferno is too strong.

The fact remains that Agent Chaos is one of the strongest Psyker builds in Darktide. If not the strongest.

So, it turns out these guys are weak? There was no room for Agent Chaos on the first page, his current best result is 27th

I’m not a slave to the leaderboard. You might deal the least damage, but you could still be the strongest player on the team.
