Lohner's Chronicles feedback

I’m not hugely expert on the end times, but I get an inkling of what you’re thinking. Do you believe this’ll be the end of Vermintide?

Here’s what I was thinking now: there might be a lot of unexpected adventures in the Chaos Wastes, but the overall plot may be preserved a little in the form of a neutral ‘Status Quo’.

Because the Developers still need to sell two or three premium careers DLC. Too good an ending can offend “chosen fans”, especially those who are constantly looking for to be offended.

After that, they can release the final map - a free Epilogue map like in V1. Only there will be a true ending.

P.S for @WhereIsBaoDur I will say this - I like everything if it’s Warhammer.

I wouldn’t mind the franchise going off with a bang - although I’m not a fan of what comes after - but that would clash with their stated plan to support VT2 for years. Might have been they changed their mind or something.
Regarless, after an expansion called “Chaos Wastes” it’ll be hard for FS to keep the stakes high. Maybe we’ll meet Okri :stuck_out_tongue:

I guess their interpretation of years of service is different, Hedge response in this thread

(Personally I don’t fully believe what he’s saying but I get it)

Damn it. I don’t usually read Steam or similar junk forums to avoid damaging my mental health. This was definitely the last time.

I don’t see the issue with what Hedge has said. Him saying that Vermintide is not meant as live service game does neither contradict Fatshark keeping support for an overall time of 5 - 10 years nor does it remove the fact that they still added content for the part of the community which wished to engage more than 100 hours with the game.

Chaos Wastes will come, the three missing DLC careers will come and more content after that will come as well. This is not the end.

Thanks a lot for the link, it’s nice to hear from the devs! Such good info.

I don’t think it’s the end, I just think it’s a lame copout to excuse the slow content development this game has

I’m still going to enjoy the game until it’s done with though

Don’t stop please. :warhammer:

If Lohner goes on to talk about Tzeentch and Slaanesh, that means two more stories. Two more weeks before the Chaos Wastes.

Another great post. I do hope we get CW sooner than that, and that these posts don’t stop

Very interesting. A sprig of blackhame is used to ward of Ereth Kial. How many souls does Kerillian have to sacrifice to her? Must be a lot if all those killed by her in both games are still not enough. And already sending out her creatures to get her? No patience, those gods.

Wait could this mean that while we wouldn’t be technically getting new enemies, we could get Khorne-reskinned norscans as northern tribesmen ?

I thought about it too. Re-skinned old enemies would be nice. Also, new voice acting is needed - for the Warriors of Khorne to shout the meme cry, of course.

Of course.

Getting Khornate enemies would be a blast. I used to have two TT Warhammer armies, one Dwarf and a Khornate Warriors of Chaos army and so seeing the Khornates join the fray would be awesome.

And given it was posted on the second of april means that I still have my hopes in this regard.

And re-skinned Rotbloods would work for the basic Marauders and Berserkers but they would need something different for Chaos Warriors and specials.

Still…Blood for the Blood God!

our plucky band should be able to avoid the territory held by the Khornate tribes

Pretty sure FS would consider even reskinned enemies as new enemies…

That’s my guess too…

Pretty sure we should expect nothing instead of being disappointed by community-created “promises” again.

And tbf reskinning Nurgle boys for that purpose runs the high risk of looking really janky and cheap. Khorne’s lads are probably a lot better at fighting anyway. Hard to imagine a follower of the taffing Blood God stumbling around dazed because Sienna blocked his swing or shoved him around lol.

To be honest though down on the mook level I think that the followers of the Dark Gods are roughly on an equal level. I don’t think a random Khornate tribesman have any special superiority to some random Nurglitch tribesman.
