The Heretics have raided a supply convoy. You need to destroy or recover these rations.
No one knows the state of these stolen rations. Will you recover them for the hungry citizens of the hive? Will you destroy them to avoid any chance of corruption?
To make progress in the event, you need to play missions with the Stolen Rations conditions where you will encounter ration items throughout. As you do, you will have to choose if you want to recover or destroy them (and face the consequences). Your event progress is strike team wide, and will be granted regardless of what option you choose.
Whatever you choose will have a consequence. While playing event missions, enemies will react differently as the strike team chooses to destroy or recover these rations. Similarly, the event circumstances will change every day to represent the community’s decision over the matter.
This event will start today, and end on November 10. The rewards will be Ordo dockets, Plasteel and Diamantine. Those who complete the last tier of the event will receive a cosmetic weapon trinket.
Can we get some details on what these Consequences are?
So a tally of the rations recovered vs destroyed is kept and based on that tally the enemy in missions with Stolen Rations event could recieve additional modifiers based on what the majority of the community has chosen the previous day?
Sounds interesting but more details on how exactly the enemy changes day over day based on that majority choice would be greatly appreciated.
Have you guys added a Melta gun yet? Or a longlas? How about a plasma pistol?
It took 2.5 years almost for the first new class, I mean, I guess I’m being a little harsh, adding a single new weapon has to be 9+ months of work that the FOMO event would be detracted from if people had more build variety to play with.
This one sounds like it has some meat to it, nice. Here’s to hoping we have more ways to access these event modifiers in the future besides the occasional havoc implement or re-occuring event, because these rewards are no where near as good of a hook as just playing the game itself.
