There’s no real use for melk coins in the game, especially if you get max level curios for each character. I still have nearly 100k of them, without really doing weekly quests anymore.
I’m frankly tired of seeing Rotten Armor and Blight Spreads. Almost every mission I roll on H40 it’s one, or the other. They’re fine to play every once in a while. But not all the time, come on…
And no, I’m not demoting myself just to get a different map. I understand you CAN do it, but it doesn’t sound great to me, considering you can still get bad rolls even after multiple demotions. Can I climb back up in a few days? Sure. Do I want to do it each time I don’t like the map? Hell no. Is it annoying to climb with volatile randoms? For sure, I don’t want to ruin my day, just because I don’t cherrypick my teammates every time and accept on first come first serve principle.
Based and brave. I still get a stroke when I see “hipster” loadouts when ppl join and surprise surprise, they do terrible.
The thing about rerolls, in a Perfect world, I think most people would love to pick each modifier and fully customize their mission like the solo mod does.
Why fatshark doesn’t give this to us is a mistery. Maybe it’s controversial BTS, maybe it’s not actionable enough and would cause a ton of issues an obscure mod doesn’t. Who knows?
If the bare minimun would be your suggestion, if it was actionable, then I’m fine with it. Any step towards giving more player agency would be a win.
Rotten Armor, Blight, same map. So not only did it roll the very same map I just finished, but it also features two of the most build-locking modifiers which do not tolerate absence of certain things on the team (stimm crate, benevolence aura, best melees for Rotten Armor to have a chance of clearing it with randoms).
Rotten armour wouldn’t be aids if they reworked it, that’s kinda my point (Same with blight)
Example for Rotten: make rotten armour enemies have +25% more HP than they currently do (keep the special scaling resistance as it is right now), but make their whole armor be Infested instead of Flak/Carapace
Example for Blight: reduce corruption generation from goo by 66%-75%, but make enemies deal full corruption damage from melee hits
That would be way too oppressive, one rager combo and you’re almost dead on most classes. Would incentivize ranged builds further so you minimize the risk of fighting things in melee.

I think they want rotten armor to be a very specific challenge that targets the best of loadouts in the game. I don’t think they’re interested in making it fair for most weapons.
I’d rather they add a new enemy like that, rather than locking this type of enemy behind a havoc Crusher variant.
Not a bad suggestion, but I don’t think it’s their vision for this modifier.
That already is a thing for the squsihies, 1 rager combo means most likely instant death if you had corruption before
Trust me it wouldn’t change much, it’s very rare for people in Havoc to get deleted by melee in the first place, if anything blight is more oppresive as it is right now for not being able to go for the melee kills since the goo on the floor
Current blight spreads situation is so bad that you’re FORCED to bring 1 guy with beacon or stimm crate
Ironically enough following my suggestion would make it harder for meta loadouts since uncanny strikes would lose massive value, alongside inferno/flamer since no rending/brittleness to bypass the carapace since no carapace to bypass
I would be a nice change but my overall problem with blight is you are limited in your team composition: you need a corruption healer, so you need either Hive Scum or Zealot. I think i could enjoy it if all classes had some constant way of healing it (vets miedcrate doesnt matter). Add to it playing with random players and comunication problems, and i find myself 50% of the time forced to play hive scum instead of my beloved veteran. All other modifiers dont force you so much, even Rotten Armor, every class can equip itself to deal with it to some degree.
The majority of people I know who play Havoc don’t like these two modifiers, letting people reroll would be a nice QOL change. I’m bumping this thread in hopes that someone on the dev team notices it.
I understand that the current system, in a way, pushes people to interract more with the rest of playerbase (aka “if you don’t have a map you want, you will have to apply to other lobbies”).
But I still think you’d kill two birds in one stone with a change like that. People want to have some control over what kind of mission they play, and melk coins are also very outdated.
there shouldn’t be any “reroll”
just give the mission and modifiers selector straight away, no strings attached
and if it’s really that difficult for fatshark, just get rid off the “rotation” crap stuff cause doesn’t make any sense, and make that at least we can get randomly all modifiers and maps from havoc at least.
it’s just annoying the pool with specific modifiers and maps, and this only changes after a big update which is like after eons.
