Launcher generating dump files

Issue Description (Required):

Launcher is generating a dump file in the /steam/dumps folder every time the game is closed or the launcher is closed. The dumps folder grows very large in size after some time if the files are not manually removed.

@johnwick666 just to update you - one of our developers has identified the issue, and we will be implementing a fix soon.

Hi @johnwick666

We’ve implemented an initial fix to test for this issue on our Experimental Build.

Could you please try switching to this, and let us know if this resolves the issue?
(If the fix is successful, we’ll be implementing it to the live build soon)

To do so:

  1. Open the Steam client
  2. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library
  3. Select ‘Properties’
  4. Select ‘Betas’
  5. Enter the password cTYPtKTsfMDsLHAV
  6. Select ‘Check Code’
  7. Select the ‘None’ dropdown, and experimental - Experimental Builds should now be within the list
  8. Select experimental - Experimental Builds
  9. Close the pop-up window
  10. A download should now start
  11. Once downloaded, launch Darktide as normal

I have switched to the experimental build and the dumps appear to no longer be generated. Thank you for the fix and the quick response!
