Lacerate is triggering from any damage source

Lacerate, the weapon trait, works on every damage source aslong as you pull out your knife before the damage triggers. It works great on grenades, both zealots and vets, and the flamethrower.

If you own a Knife with Haymaker and Lacerate and throw a Zealot grenade into a room, the room full of enemies will die.

(I cant quite put in words how overpowered the interaction between zealots grenade and Lacerate is. A single grenade will clear a room of Damnation trash and heavily damage elites. The flamethrower achieves this with extra steps.)

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Have a Knife with Lacerate (and Haymaker)
  2. Toss a grenade
  3. Have Knife in hand when grenade explodes
  4. Everything bleeds

with Flamethrower

  1. Have Knife with Lacerate (and Haymaker)
  2. Equip Flamethrower
  3. Set enemy group ablaze
  4. Switch to Knife
  5. Enemies will die to Falme procs that trigger Lacerate
