Hello, how are we supposed to play with any other operative If we can’t even select one in the first place since it crashes instantly on the character menu ???
Yeah… what the guys above said. This is not an option. Is there anything that we or Fatshark can do to remotely reset loadouts or something…?
Can we figure out which file it is that has our Karsolas pickaxe loadout?Or is the crash occuring even if you have the weapon in your inventory not equipped?Seriously why would I buy Arbites today if I cant even log into the Mourningstar..
No, I couldn’t even select a role before it crashed down.
Guess I won’t be buying the new class. It never dawned on Fatshark to test Ogryn with a pickaxe? So busy playing Arbites they didn’t even think about anything else? What an absolute joke of a company.
@FatsharkJulia I found a fix, I was able to log into the game using this mod:
My Ogryn was my autoselected character as I played it last. To be sure deleted my pickaxe loadout, and can now load character select as it should.
Edit: Only seems to work for those who played Ogryn as their last toon before the patch landed.
I was able to bypass the crash by using (Log Me In) mod from nexusmods. And when I got past the character select, I ran the /dis command from the console. Or if you have Disconnect mod installed use that. This allows you to change character to other than Ogryn.
Thank you, I’m notifying the developers handling this. I completely understand having to use a mod isn’t ideal, however!
I’ll include this in my next update which I’m writing up now.
I downloaded it and loaded in past character selection but crashed once I loaded in

Not sure if shared already, my Ogryn has no Karsolas in his builds, only the Branx. Also, i can’t select any of my characters, i ctd before seeing the character selection screen.

Do you need to have been playing Ogryn last for this to work? I load in on my Zealot, but there’s no way for me to play the new class as the game crashes whenever go back to character selection / use the /dis command.
I tried it but , still getting ctd 
Yes when I loaded in, it was on my ogryn the first time it worked.
Mine still crashes to desktop instantly too after getting past character selection using the mod
Was your Ogryn using the pickaxe loadout at login or something else? I think I’m stuck as the last thing I used was a Karsolas
Might only work if your last played character was Ogryn. I’m seeing it’s not working for all.

Yes, it does not work unless you were playing Ogryn last. I cannot play the Arbites class after using LogMeIn, I can only get in on the last character I was playing as (Zealot). There’s no way for me to delete the Ogryn loadout.
Ok so basically runned the game with this mod multiple times until I got to the point I could change my operative even though I got my pickaxe equipped on the ogryn, I went to inventory and choosed loadout quickly without and my ogryn is saved now, from now I’m no longer using the mod and now I can choose other operatives aswell. If you managed to get to the point of tab popping out to either skip or play through campaign, press escape and change operative fast or go to inventory and pick loadout without pickaxe. I got this on my like 10th attempt…
