To those that have this issue in the operative select screen - are you using any sort of mod that shows your weapons on this screen?
I selected my Ogryn w/pickaxe upon initial login after the patch. Now I am unable to select any other character, the game crashes before I get the chance to select anything else.
I have no mods installed whatsoever
I am using 0 mods (never have).

No. Have never so much as looked at or thought about installing a mod. I’m too lazy. 
So, how do I delete my Ogryn so I can play the game? I can’t even load into the character select screen.
I did not activate any mods, can they cause problems while being inactive?
After every update we have to reactivate the mods and I always wait until they are updated. So long it always allowed me to play crash/bug-free right after updates.
Same here, game crashes as soon as character select screen appears. I definitely have the Karsolas equipped on my ogryn. I have mods but all disabled for the update.
Tbh yeah. I’d be fine actually just deleting my ogryn if means I get to play the game at least.

I think FS can do that but they can only delete your whole character.
Or, maybe the could just reset them and unequip everything, talents and weapons? That seems to cause the issue.
Unfortunately it was said the issue would not be resolved today so in any case we’ll have to be patient until it is fixed
I don’t code or know anything about it, but if the pickaxe is the issue and nobody that has it equipped can play anyways, could the pickaxe be removed from the game temporarily until a fix is found? I’m sure it’s not that simple but maaaybe? lol.

Well the problem is it crashes before the character selection screen, in other words I can not select a character or play at all. So I am to gather that my game is now bricked for the rest of the week? Okidoki… I am getting serious PTSD back to the launch of the game. Not good at all guys and gals…
To be blunt we are screwed until this is resolved, kinda bummed out since i was so hyped for arbites
