At that point there are only two things that you can do:
Go prepare yourself something nice and warm (like a coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc.) and return. When you return, you should have spent enough time doing that for it to load.
If Darktide fails to load in that time, just close the game and then open it again. When it opens, you should still have all of your rewards.
so far alt/f4 and the odd verify game files kept my game in stable waters for months.
whats funny though is while i load a match within 10 seconds
mission leader doesnt even finishes the first sentence when i’m starting with 3 bots, the measly mourningstar boots aeons longer while being a fraction in size.
After a really great first match I’m on my third infinite loading screen this evening requiring a restart after each one. Hoping to get a few more matches tonight but not looking good in the EU region.
Edit: On my 4th attempt I got 3013 error 3 or 4 times in a row from character selection and after that I got into Mourningstar
Edit 2: Managed to join a match that was already in progress. Sadly none of my actions registered. Left game and Mourningstar did load without issue
Edit 3: Managed to join a new match but none of my actions registered. Left game and Mourningstar did load although after roughly 2 minutes. Was then booted to character select after a few seconds. Was able to select a character and load into Mourning star in less than 10 seconds.
Edit 4: Joined an ongoing match, no actions registering. Left game, got error (3013 I think) and was booted to character select. Got 3013 again after selecting character. Stuck on infinite loading screen for several minutes, quit game.
Final edit: Tried joining several more games but with the same result so giving up now. I’m playing through Geforce Now in their Stockholm region and I’m not having any issues with the video stream of the game itself. Not sure if there is some major network issue at play with that region of Geforce now in regards to the Darktiden servers. Regardless, I filed a ticket with them also. It should be noted that I have played several hundred hours this way so I know first hand that Geforce Now + Darktide used to work very nicely.
I often get an excessive loading time when trying to load in to the mourninstar after switching to my veteran. My other archetypes don’t seem to trigger the laod time. Could just be coincidence. I’m typing this now whilst waiting on the loading screen for over 10 mins.
My loading from steam is always abysmal, even after a fresh install and the same on whatever machine I try. My laptop is an absolute beast so it certainly isn’t hardware.
some weird warp stuff goin on here sah
