I have been getting error 2014 in every single match at least once or twice. I have already done the steps in the pinned post, I deleted all my configuration files verified files and reinstalled the game. I also deleted all mods. Plus I’ve port forwarded, Flush DNS and even tried with a new router and nothing works. Before hotfix 1.4.10 I never had any issues. I really hope that in the upcoming update that this is actually going to be addressed in someway. I would really like to know on what going on with server stability.
Using the same ISP router as my brother, direct cable connection, no wireless connection of any kind used. He hasnt had it since the release time.
Before Unlocked and loaded it was happening rarely, now, i cant even finish rebuilding the goddam talent tree before getting kicked out of the Loadingstar to the operative selection.
Since this hasnt been solved for years, i guess there is no hope it ever will be.
Suffering from frequent disconnections from the servers during missions, landing me in the character select screen. Sometimes give error 2001, and sometimes gives error 2014. I’ve noticed that error 2014 tends to be during hordes. Will suffer lag and enemies/teammates stuck running on the spot, or sometimes enemies just running forever though obstacles, usual disconnection stuff. I doubt this has anything to do with my internet connection since nothing else has been affected by it.
Adding my lot to this because this has been consistent for days after 8PM MST…

Consistent disconnection from servers (NA West) when attempting to play in the evening local time. The match that resulted in me tacking onto the known issue thread was one where I could not stay connected for more than 3 minutes at a time. On the Carnival map my gmae was disconnected 4 times in a row, each error hopping between 2014 and the final received was 2001.
This is not a one-off occurrence, every evening when I’m trying to play the game around this hour, server connectivity becomes less and less stable, today has been by far the worst since I wasn’t even able to stay in a match for more than a few minutes at a time.
This salty message has been writed by a non-english main language guy, apologies if i make mistake.
I have enough, since April/May it’s like that, it’s been some weeks that i stopped playing in auric maelstrom and even in T5 to avoid this BUT IT IS HAPPENING EVEN IN SEDITION !

Off course i have more clip but it’s 5 Maximum ! and to proove that it’s not clips that’s from 5 month earlier, there is a rolling steel one that happened to me today !!
Is there an update/fix to this issue in the near future? Or am I just going to suffer constant errors every time I attempt to play? Any potential fixes on console would be appreciated.

Hello ive recently bought darktide for the new update and excited to play but as soon as i launch a mission i get kicked out within 2 minutes due to error code 2014 and 2001 (mainly 2014)

I’m playing Darktide (on Steam) again since this new patch. In several missions (not all) I get heavy lags, when I see hordes and get disconnects with error 2014, time and time again.
I already tried to delete the app data and even reinstall the game. It didn’t work on the long term.
Back when the game was new, I was able to play it without that or any other error.
Since last patch, I keep getting DC’d error 2014, 2001, 3013 etc etc… Just lost another match at the very end because it refused to reconnect.
Tried doing everything from reinstalling to disabling “portrait rendering” which was a wtf solution suggested in another thread, but no cigar. Just when I think we’re safe, more disconnects. Wasn’t happening for me, now is every other game.
Hi, do you have any news for us unfortunate souls plagued by this error? Are we the last of tech support priorities? Any chance to have this fixed? Something broke from a patch to another. Game is literally unplayable now!
Hi I’ve also been experiencing very consistent poor latency, error 2001 and 2014 disconnects and rubber-banding that has made the game almost unplayable as of late.
Seems to have gotten much worse since the latest patch (1.5.4) and at current can’t complete a full game without at least one disconnect and several instances of latency and rubber-banding
The past few days have been horrible in terms of server connection.
I play with a few friends in discord voice chat and whenever I get disconnected the voice chat keeps on working, so I highly doubt it’s a problem with my internet connection. Many times, my attacks would only receive hit markers 0.5~1s after the attack has been performed, and I would get hit by error-2014 server disconnects shortly after. Last night was especially bad, and both my friends & other players in the mourningstar lobby reported similar connection problems. I’ve had 4 disconnects from the 2 games I’ve played today, and it’s not been enjoyable.
Played multiple game and got disconnected from server with error code : 2014. The enemy and teammates stop moving and floating / clipping through the map.
Also the game drop fps, input to switch weapon did not register on multiple occasion.
I tried to relog the game but unsuccessful with similar result. Then i got fed up and reported here.
Im in Asia and Pacific central server with 29ms ping.
In game ping is 43ms.
I’ve been getting similar issues fairly consistently on NA West servers…
The worst connection issues occur after 9PM PST, I’ll end up suddenly getting lag spikes where enemies can roam around but take no damage, or everything will lock in place while I can wander around freely doing effectively nothing. If this state lasts longer than 15-20 seconds I get disconnected entirely.
Yup thats exactly happened to me earlier. For today session Im experiencing the issue around 9.30pm GMT +8. The time is such a coincidence.
Just came back to the game after a long break i didnt know if this issue happens frequently.
I normally don’t have any connectivity issues, at least not since biggest launch bugs got worked out. But suddenly in the last few days, this server lag appeared. Time of day doesn’t seem to have much to do with it.
I’m on the Europe servers, so it’s not a localized thing. It seems to be global.
unfortunately has been happening to me too. between 10 am and 4 pm I get 95-106 ms in my own server region
then between 4-6 I get 25-30 ms
then 6 through the rest of the night I get 110-118.
game is simply just unplayable for me and I really hope they fricking optimize their servers or do an overhaul on their online system because IT SUCKS SO BAD!!!
sorry this makes me frustrated, darktide is my favorite game
