is there consensus that its AMD bug? windows 11 has more dx api support than windows 10, hence its possible that DT is using of unsupported api on windows 10
Once your system is verified for update to Windows 11 you can turn TPM back off in BIOS, even before the actual upgrade. I did. It works.
On another note I wouldnât be surprised if TPM could be activated remotely, since your system is verified to have one. After all it is a built-in backdoor.

Exactly the same system and hardware settings. I have the same problem, the game wonât start.
Why would they?
Such events take time, effort and money to set up and pausing it would likely mess up all kinds of stuff and maybe keep someone from going on vacation, which would break the law where they are.
All this did was anger @half the fans. Why would they care? All we exist to do is give them money. other than that, we do not matter. Just ask EA, Ubisoft or Blizzard if fans matter at all. You will get laughed at.

I apologize for the rant, but I am VERY angry atm. I was very hyped for this update and then, not content to slap us in the face like EA or Ubi, we got kicked in the balls! âAngryâ does not begin to cover my feelings. For the first time in quite a while, I am AGREEING with a lot of the absolute garbage that is posted on Steam forums.

You can claim them right now, rewards have nothing to do with the actual game.

couldnt find many benchmark videos that are recent for comparing win 10 and win 11 in games. but win 11 seems to be just a few % worse now though a lot of games 1% lows seemed to be a great deal worse on 11.
i would certainly suggest investigating the impact before taking the step , i dont know how easy it is to revert to 10. im looking at 2 articles one says you have to fresh install and the other says its an easy roll back . maybe someone can clear that up?
Windows 11 sucks donkey balls, Thats why nobody wants to âupgradeâ to it.

@FatsharkJulia I have a possible hint for you: some win 11 users with separate sound cards or usb sound devices can get the game to run without issue. Some can run it on win 11 without such devices. Some cannot get it to run in any combination of the above. Check AMD HD Audio for issues, those sound card options I mentioned will override the HD audio going through the video cable in some cases.

@FatsharkJulia i had this problem (posted logs above), recently updated from win10 to win11 and it fixes, now its playable.
My AMD drivers work perfectly fine in Windows 10 with every single other game, old or new, big or small.
Darktide is the only one with this issue. Itâs specific to Darktide and the industry-topping incompetence of Fatsharkâs leadership/management.

This problem is nonexistent in every other game I play on Windows 10.
This problem is isolated to Darktide and Fatshark.

the game was running on win10 before this patch!
if we chose not to migrate to win11 it is probably by personal choice
Again, itâs not up to the user to find the solution or change OS, itâs up to the publisher to fix the problem.

Updated to Win11 overnight, can confirm that it did let me launch the game at least, but has caused some consistent frame drops and stuttering

well, only problem with the âjust upgrade to windows 11â solution is most people cant because of the stupid tpm requirement.
the sad thing is, a mistake like that just should not happen, and i have never seen anything like this before. Now the issue is known for 24 hours and there is still no fix? Can i get my money back, because im no longer able to actually play the game?
